Tier 1
Stupid Spell! -
Trogg No Stupid! also increases Troggzor's passive Spell Armor to
50 for
3 seconds. This effect has a
10 second cooldown.
Compounding Earth - While
Earthy Fortitude is active, Troggzor gains
100 temporary health
(works like Muradin's Avatar).
Quest: Collect
Regeneration Globes.
Reward: Each
Regeneration Globe increases the temporary health gain of
Earthy Fortitude by
25.
Reward: Every
25 Regeneration Globes collected also increases Troggzor's passive health regeneration by
6.10.
Rolling Stone -
Quest: For every
60 seconds Troggzor is alive, he receives
1% increased basic attack damage and ability power. Stacks are lost on death.
Reward: For every
5 stacks of
Rolling Stone Troggzor has, he receives a checkpoint, causing him to not drop below that many stacks upon dying.
Tier 2
Trogg Get You! -
Trogg No Stupid! also grants Troggzor
15% increased movement speed for
2 seconds.
Quaking Rage - The earth around Troggzor quakes, dealing
23 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies every
2 seconds.
Trogg No Stupid! also activates this effect an extra time independent of the cooldown.
Earthinate the Peasants - Enemy minions hit by
Shattering Smash are petrified and sent flying, Stunning them for
3 seconds and dealing
144 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies they pass through.
Rebuild -
Earthy Fortitude heals Troggzor for
75% of its total healing right away, but no longer heals over time. The Armor effect still remains.
Tier 3
Trogg Smash! -
Shattering Smash also Stuns all enemies hit for
0.5 seconds and knocks them back a short distance. If any affected enemies collide with a wall, increase the Stun to
1 second.
Quicksand -
Seismic Uppercut's shockwave leaves quicksand in its path for
5 seconds, slowing enemies by
20% while they remain in it.
Momentum - The damage and Stun of
Seismic Uppercut increase based on how far it travels, up to
150% at its maximum range.
Tier 4
Earthen Fury - See above.
Stone Idol - See above.
Tier 5
Very Angry Trogg - When Troggzor is affected by a Root, Stun, or Silence, he becomes Unstoppable for
1.5 seconds and
Trogg No Stupid! activates
3 times. This effect has a
60 second cooldown beginning after the Unstoppable duration, which is also reduced by
1 second every time
Trogg No Stupid! activates.
Concussion -
Shattering Smash also reduces the ability power of affected enemies by
35% for
4 seconds.
Sandstorm -
Seismic Uppercut's shockwave now Blinds enemies for
2 seconds instead of slowing them.
Tier 6
*Angry Trogg Noises* -
Trogg No Stupid! also activates when Troggzor loses
7.5% of his maximum health within
3 seconds.
Earthshatter -
Shattering Smash also deals damage to its targets equal to
2.5% of their maximum health. When hitting an enemy not affected by its Armor reduction,
Shattering Smash's Armor reduction and max health damage are increased by
100% (the maximum reduction of 25 Armor remains unchanged).
Enraged Regeneration - While
Earthy Fortitude is active,
Trogg No Stupid! also heals Troggzor for
2.5% of his maximum health.
Tier 7
Rampage - During
Earthen Fury,
Trogg No Stupid! also extends
Earthen Fury's duration by
0.5 seconds.
Brulfist Idol -
Stone Idol's damage when raised under an enemy is increased to
249 (+4% per level), and it knocks Troggzor and enemies back a more significant distance
(about half of Junkrat's Concussion Mine).
Deepholme Durability -
Trogg No Stupid! also makes Troggzor Unkillable for
2 seconds.
Bashing Time! - After casting an ability, increase Troggzor's basic attack speed by
60% for
3 seconds.
Thanks for the comment, and maybe I'll do a bit of renaming and stuff to give it more Trogdor flavor. I was mostly just working off of the idea of a trogg in the first place so I missed that opportunity :P
That's all that I could find in general this is one of the better concept I've seen balance wise.really like it. :)
When I was making the Stupid Spell! and Very Angry Trogg talents, I actually had in mind that enemies could just cast a minor ability to "waste" the cooldown. The idea was supposed to be that they had lower cooldowns/stronger effects than similar talents to make up for the potential for counterplay. For example, Garrosh's Indomitable talent grants him 1.5 seconds of Unstoppable on demand and has a 40 second cooldown, while Very Angry Trogg grants Troggzor 2.5 seconds of Unstoppable that he can't control the activation of but only has a 25 second cooldown. Still, I'll look at ways to make those talents more reliable.
As for Earthshatter, the reduced cap is also supposed to be compensated by a 50% damage increase to Shattering Smash. If it still seems like a downgrade with that I can up the Armor reduction to 15.
I appreciate the suggestions, and I'm glad you like the concept!
I do think Earthen Fury is too... redundant? With his kit though. What if he got some offensive power besides the increased CDR with the skill? Maybe instead of even more healing or armor he could get some attack damage, attack speed, or immunity to slows to let him move around easier. Fits the image of a hulking Trogg stomping through attempts at slowing him down.
After looking at Earthen Fury again, I see what you mean. Originally I thought it'd be nice to have him be semi-indestructible for 10 seconds, but that is kind of repetitive with Earthy Fortitude. I'll look at remaking it to give him some more mobility and offensive capability, maybe letting him push enemies out of the way by walking into them or something like that.
That would be so flavorful, love the idea. Though now that you mention it, Dehaka does have Trait regen + Adaptation. Maybe make it more focused vs spells? Like heal whenever his trait procs? Just throwing ideas because I like the concept so much.
Also, I used to have a talent that made his trait heal, but combined with the talent that activates his trait when he takes damage I thought it could be kind of ridiculous.
Thanks again for the comments!
