Play style

Valeera's early game is pretty weak since she only has 10% slow. It was my intention to make her weak early. She can get kited and zoned out pretty heavily.
But still once opponent makes a positioning mistake, she can deal a lot of damage, almost killing any squishy instantly or leaving them to bleed for decent damage until they succumb. Because they WILL eventually bleed out :) .

Her true power comes from Heroic abilities. Once you choose one, the game just starts.

My main goal was to create two play styles. Which doesn't mean you should follow this 100%. Everyone has their own "unique" play style but I wanted to give you some closure of what you could do.

Both play styles are unique (in some way) and revolve heavily around Heroic Abilities:

- DfA (Death from Above) build
- EoE (Embodiment of Evil) build

Describtion:

DfA mostly revolves around applying Bleed effects and and doing your basic damaging combo before leaving enemy Hero to suffer for heavy Bleed damage.

Pros:

* Great single target damage
* With [Ambush] talent, sneak attacks are almost always guaranteed

Cons:

* Squishy when pinned down
* Team fighting sucks

Describtion:

EoE build revolves around good sustain and Attack speed boosts. It shines especially in team fights.

Pros:

* Team fighting rules
* Can zone enemy Heroes from objectives

Cons:

* Heroic Ability has long cooldown
* Enemy Heroes can still CC you and control you

Info

Hit hard and fast, make them bleed!

I just wanted to create something fun. And I chose Valeera to be my victim because I love her character (inb4 kit doesn't resemble her in lore) and rogues in general.
Just give my concept a good look and feel free to comment. Criticism is welcome (we all have to learn some day and do the math correctly).
That leads to my next point: numbers. Yes, some numbers seem nasty, other seem O.K (rly?). But these numbers are mostly there for eye candy. Just don't let numbers take over your life (and I'm bad at math).
And about that secondary Heroic ability: yes it's Illidan! Actually I tried to bring some of Valeera's lore into her kit. As she got possessed by evil demonic maniac who just loves to cuddle poor mortal souls.

Note 1: I'll definitely update this concept whenever I can and if I have some new ideas.

Note 2: Bleed effects don't stack, these are kinda like "hidden" debuffs.

Note 3: Valeera is resourceless Hero.

06/02/2015

Corrections:

Talents changes -
* [Ambush] no longer makes enemy target to Bleed
* [Ambush] Death from Above cooldown is immediately reset if this kills enemy Hero (more cleanup power and mobility when picking DfA, Valeera already has her main Bleed tool to make enemy Heroes Bleed, so I removed it and changed it to something more rewarding when executed well)

06/04/2015

* [Envenom] removed
* [Cutthroat] removed
* [Internal Bleeding] now grants 20% more Movement Speed  for 2 seconds after activating on enemy target or Hero

* [Hunger for Blood] added to Tier 5, next three Basic Attacks against Bleeding enemy Hero deal 20% more damage which lasts 3 seconds

Like it, just think that Valeera should have access to envenom in tier 2 since rogues are always poisoning enemies in WoW.

Nice concept! I like Valeera too. In the case of similarity with Illidan with the second Heroic, I thinked about Zeratuls Shadow Assault. But yeah you are right Kathra'Natir needs to be with Valeera. (spoiler: At least for while. After they release Meryl it would be weird :D ) To deffy her little more maybe add more bleeding :) Some bleeding Heroic or something like that. :) Anyway GJ :)

I might have to change some stuff pretty soon (atm lazy), because I realised some things are quite similar to other things currently in HotS. Like how DfA (with Ambush talent) is like Ravage vol.2 but better.

I'll think of something soonish to make her different.
