Vek'lor and Vek'nilash

Twin Emperors

A Warrior and Assassin who share Mana and work off one another.

The clever brothers Vek'lor and Vek'nilash are known as the Twin Emperors. They rule over the qiraji from the sanctuary of their temple, guided by the Old God C'thun himself.

Tips:
-The brothers work well with or without the other, and each playstyle has benefits and downsides. Fighting together is safe but yields less experience, while fighting apart spreads the pressure at the cost of synergy and protection.
-Shadow Bolt and Unbalancing Strike combo well together. Unbalancing Strike sets up Shadow Bolt's bonus damage and makes it easier to land.
-Twin Teleport is good for getting a brother out of trouble or taking advantage of each one's Armor bonus. Use it to prevent the loss of both brothers.
-Berserk gives the brothers a slight edge in fights. Its best used when the 2 are together as it will be easier to take advantage of the bonuses.
-Scorpion Swarm and Explode Bugs creates an emphasis on Vek'linash for burst damage. Keep enemies in place as they try to escape and finish them quickly by switching to Vek'lor.
-The Sleeper's Nightmare makes Vek'lor stay in the back of teamfights more often. Use it on Vek'nilash or any other Melee fighter to take advantage of it.
-Ethereal Presence is Vek'lor's way of increasing the brothers' survivability. The staggering of damage gives them more time to heal it off or continue fighting despite taking fatal damage.
-Feast of Souls is powerful for keeping the brothers alive. The constant healing and damage makes it nearly impossible to kill them or stay in a fight.
-Blade of C'thun gives much more for the team to combo off with or initiate with. Grouping up enemies and causing massive damage and CC can earn multiple takedowns.

Combat Trait

Twin Emperors
Vek'lor and Vek'nilash share one Mana bar. If one brother dies, the other does as well. Vek'lor, a Mage, has 30 Physical Armor while Vek'nilash, a Warrior, has 30 Spell Armor. Each brother has their own Talents to choose at each level.

Heal Brother
Mana Cost: 40
Cooldown: 10 seconds


Heal your brother for 225 (+4%) Health. Cannot be used on the caster or other allied Heroes other than your brother. Talents taken for Heal Brother affect both brothers.

Mana Cost: 50
Cooldown: 6 seconds


Vek'lor fires a slow moving shot of dark magic, dealing 220 (+4%) damage. This is increased by 30% against slowed, stunned, or rooted enemies.

Twin Teleport (W)
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 20 seconds


Swap places with Vek'nilash instantly, removing most debuffs.

Explode Bugs (E)
Mana Cost: 30
Cooldown: 1 second


Cause all scorpions to explode, dealing 200 (+4%) damage to nearby enemies.

Unbalancing Strike (Q)
Mana Cost: 60
Cooldown: 8 seconds


Vek'nilash steps forward and swings his cleaver, dealing 165 (+4%) damage to enemies in front of him and slowing them by 35% for 3 seconds.

Berserk (W)
Mana Cost: 45
Cooldown: 25 seconds


The brothers become enraged, increasing their Damage and Movement Speed by 15% for 10 seconds.

Scorpion Swarm (E)
Mana Cost: 60
Cooldown: 12 seconds


Vek'nilash causes a tremor around him, dealing 70 (+4%) damage to nearby enemies and rooting them for .75 seconds. Each enemy hit spawns a scorpion and Heroes spawn an additional scorpion. Scorpions last for 8 seconds, have 225 (+4%) Health, and deal 25 (4%) damage per second.

Cooldown: 90 seconds


Vek'lor channels on an allied Hero to create a pool of dark magic underneath them, increasing their damage by 30% and dealing 185 (+4%) damage per second to nearby enemies. Lasts up to 8 seconds.

Mana Cost: 80
Cooldown: 100 seconds


Vek'lor cloaks the brothers in void energies, causing 40% of damage they take for the next 8 seconds to be dealt to them over the course of 6 seconds instead.

Feast of Souls
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 120 seconds


Souls swirl around the brothers, dealing 115 (+4%) damage per second to nearby enemies and healing the brothers by 5% of their maximum Health per enemy Hero hit. Lasts 6 seconds.

(Vek'nilash only.)

Blade of C'thun
Mana Cost: 80
Cooldown: 70 seconds


Vek'nilash delivers a blow blessed by an Old God, dealing 235 (+4%) damage to an enemy and enemies nearby. Enemies hit are stunned for 1 second, then silenced for 2 seconds.

Level 1 Talents

(Vek'lor)
Growing Dark (Passive): Quest: Gathering Regeneration Globes increases the brothers' Mana Regeneration by .075 per second, up to 3 per second. Vek'nilash can help complete this.
Reward: After collecting 40 Regeneration Globes, the brothers' gain 150 maximum Mana.

Aid Me Brother! (W): Getting stunned or rooted instantly resets Twin Teleport's cooldown. This effect has a 15 second cooldown.

Brotherly Love (D): If Heal Brother is used while your brother is below 40% Health, its cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds.

(Vek'nilash)
Gathering Storm (Passive): Quest: Gathering Regeneration Globes increases the brothers' Health Regeneration by 1 per second, up to 40 per second. Vek'lor can help complete this.
Reward: After collecting 40 Regeneration Globes, the brothers gain 500 maximum Health.

Fortified Rage (W): Berserk grants Vek'lor 15 Spell Armor and Vek'nilash 15 Physical Armor during its duration.

United Defense (D): Using Heal Brother while your brother is stunned or rooted increases the healing by 30%.

Level 4 Talents

Void Volley (Q): Quest: Hit 30 enemy Heroes with Shadow Bolt. Hitting Heroes that are slowed, rooted, or stunned counts as an additional hit.
Reward: Increase Shadow Bolt's range by 30% and reduce its cooldown by 2 seconds.

Cull the Weak (Q): Shadow Bolt does 50% more damage to Mercenaries and Monsters.

Bug Bombs (E): Explode Bugs knocks enemies back. The knockback is increased per explosion an enemy is hit by.

(Vek'nilash)
Hindering Blows (Q): Quest: Hit 30 enemy Heroes with Unbalancing Strike.
Reward: Increase Unbalancing Strike's slow to 50% and reduce its cooldown by 2 seconds.

Commanding Strike (Q): Unbalancing Strike does 50% more damage to Minions and Monsters.

Virulent Poison (E): Scorpions deal an additional 75 (+4%) damage over 5 seconds when they attack.

Level 7 Talents

(Vek'lor)
Shadow Shuffle (W): Twin Teleport increases the brothers' Movement Speed by 20% for 4 seconds. Doesn't stack with Berserk.

Wake of the Emperors (E): Quest: Summon 100 Scorpions.
Reward: Increase the radius of Scorpion Swarm by 25% and the Scorpions' Health and attack by 30%.

Dark Mending (D): Casting Heal Brother on Vek'nilash heals him by an additional 225 (+4%) Health over 5 seconds.

(Vek'nilash)
War Ritual (W): While Berserk is active, the brothers heal for 40% of the damage they deal.

Wrath of the Emperors (E): Quest: Hit enemy Heroes with 50 explosions from Explode Bugs.
Reward: Increase the damage and radius of Explode Bugs by 30% and Scorpions explode automatically if they are killed.

Void Power (D): Casting Heal Brother on Vek'lor restores 100 (+2%) Mana over 5 seconds.

Level 13 Talents

There Will Be Pain! (Q): Increase the bonus damage of Shadow Bolt against slowed, rooted, and stunned enemies to 60%.

Binary Bomb (W): Twin Teleport causes an explosion around the brothers, dealing 280 (+4%) damage to nearby enemies.

The Cycle Unbroken (E): Explode Bugs reduces the cooldown of Scorpion Swarm by .75 seconds per Hero hit.

(Vek'nilash)
So Much Pain! (Q): Unbalancing Strike reduces the Spell Armor of Heroes hit by 25% for 3 seconds.

Qiraji Fury (W): Berserk causes the brothers to burn nearby enemies for 25 (+4%) damage per second for its duration.

Scorpion Ambush (E): Scorpion Swarm spawns an additional Scorpion for each enemy Hero hit (3 total per Hero).

Level 16 Talents

(Vek'lor)
Shared Suffering (Q): Shadow Bolt bounces to up to 2 additional slowed, rooted, or stunned targets.

Death is Close (E): Hitting an enemy Hero with 3 or more explosions from Explode Bugs fears them for 1 second.

Arcane Burst (D): Heal Brother causes an explosion around the healed brother, dealing 150 (+4%) damage to nearby enemies and knocking them back.

(Vek'nilash)
Might of the Sleeper (Q): Unbalancing Strike knocks enemies back and increase its radius by 30%.

Grip of the Earth (E): Scorpion Swarm deals 50% more damage and roots enemies for an additional .5 seconds.

Armor of the Old Gods (D): Heal Brother grants the healed brother 20 Armor for 3 seconds.

Level 20 Talents

(Vek'lor)
Awakening (R): The Sleeper's Nightmare gains unlimited range and heals the target for 50% of the damage dealt.

Akin to Oblivion (R): Ethereal Presence displaces 60% of damage taken over the course of 8 seconds.

C'thun's Call (Passive): Reduces the brothers' death timers by 33%.

(Vek'nilash)
Banquet of Souls (R): Increases the radius Feast of Souls by 30% and the duration by 4 seconds.

The Sleeper's Butcher (R): Blade of C'thun increases Vek'nilash's Basic Attack damage by 40% per enemy Hero hit for 5 seconds.

C'thun's Call (Passive): Reduces the brothers' death timers by 33%.
