The Shadow Hunter

Vol'Jin is a hero, that uses his shadow and voodoo powers to assist his allies in battle. Even if he doesn't directly hurt his enemies, he is a valuable ally that should be respected.

Spiritual Link
Vol'Jin strikes target enemy with a spiritual bolt that bounces up to two times, dealing 120~389 damage and applying a Spirit Link debuff to them for 8 seconds. When any of affected enemies takes damage, 9% of that damage is dealt again to all enemies with Spirit Link.

Range: 6 (both initial cast and bounce range)

The Other Side
Vol'Jin shifts through realms, becoming invisible for 2 seconds. After this time, he returns to the present realm, restoring 248~804 health to nearby allies.

Vol'Jin places a protective ward on target ally, protecting them from death for 8 seconds. This ward restores 1485~4816 health over the duration and decreases damage taken by up to 50% based on target's missing health.

Vol'Jin releases the power of voodoo, transforming nearby enemy heroes into random critters for 1,5 seconds.

Level 1 talents

Conjurer's Pursuit: Collecting Regeneration Globes permanently increases Mana Regeneration by 0,1 per second.
Cheap Spirit Link: Decreases mana cost of Spiritual Link by 35.

Soul Convert: Increases mana steal by 25%.

Bouncy Spirit Link: Increases cooldown by 1 seconds and number of bounces by 1.

level 4 talents

Protective Shield: Activate to shield an allied Hero for 15% of their maximum health for 5 seconds.
Terrifying Scream: Increases radius of Terrify by 20%.
The Faster Side: The Other Side increases movement speed by 25% for the duration.
The Hurting Side: Also causes The Other Side to damage enemies within radius for 25% of the base healing done.

level 7 talents

The Third Side: Now The Other Side can be cast on an ally. When cast on ally, this heals only the main target. Range: 6,25.
Protective Link: Spiritual Link can be cast on allies, but no longer on enemies. Instead of dealing damage, this gives a shield and instead of dealing 9% of damage again this distributes 25% of damage dealt among other affected allies.
Spiritwalk: The Other Side no longer costs mana.
Hex: Transforms target enemy into a random critter for 1,5 seconds. 70 seconds cooldown.

level 10 talents

Bound to Death: After the effect expires, this deals 251~814 damage to all affected enemies. If Protective Link was chosen, instead heal for this amount.
The Eternal Link: Increases time of Spiritual Link by 5,5 seconds.
The Longer Side: Increases duration by 35%.
The Hastening Side: After the effect expires, increase movement speed by 30% for 2 seconds.

level 16 talents

Master Soul Bolt: Also each attack steals health equal to 0,80% of target's max health.
Arcane Barrier: Gain a shield equal to 200% of maximum mana for 3 seconds.
The Double Side: The Other Side now stores 2 charges. Time between uses is 2,75 seconds.
Dread: Terrify now lasts 20% longer and causes other crowd control effects to last 20% longer.

level 20 talents

Soul Ward: Now also reduces the time of crowd-control effects on target by 50% depending on target's missing health and restores 3% mana per second.
The Greatest Voodoo: When the effect wears off, apply a Vulnerable effect on them, which increaes damage they take by 25% and lasts for 4 seconds.

Da Voodoo Shuffle: Makes you immune to crowd-control effects.

Note

The statistics and abilities now scale in another way - the current value is increased by 4% each level (i. e. Base - 100, Level 1 - 104, Level 2 - 108, Level 3 - 112, Level 4 - 117, Level 5 - 122), so that's why I've changed the numbers here and didn't add any per level values, however I've added values at level 30.
Also, I've changed the Tier 7 Talent The Greatest Voodoo to make it useful insead of making it a joke. It's just like noone would use this ultimate to transform some Mercenaries, and the new one talent will bring even more utility, as it's job of Vol'Jin.

Hey there. :)
Like the ideas, it's a real Voodoo you have there.
One thing that's really just my opinion and nothing else : I don't like mana burn, because it can break some heroes. I also like mana burn abilities, because it's awesome, but hey, can't have both. xD

I'd make a few tiny changes :
-Terrifying Scream: Increases radius of Terrify by 20% (instead of 15% = radius of 3).
-The Hurting Side: I wouldn't decrease the healing, maybe deal only 75% of the damage instead ?
-The Greatest Voodoo: Make the minion critters deal 1 damage and have 1HP for fun xD

Very good concept! Only comment is change trait drain to 1%. Also seems a lot like BW and t***.
