Vol'Jin

Leader of the Darkspear Tribe

Leader of the Darkspear Tribe and former Warchief of the Horde, Vol'Jin is a powerful shadow hunter and close ally of Thrall. Seeing his friend go before him and with the spirits advising him to, he has finally decided to enter the Nexus, bringing some big bad voodoo with him.

Combat Trait

Activate this trait within 3 seconds after using an ability to cause an additional effect.

Primary Abilities

[Q] Dark Spear
Cooldown: 3 seconds
Mana: 30

Vol'Jin tosses a spear infused with dark energies, dealing 87.42 (+4% per level) to the first enemy Hero hit. The spear remains in the enemy for 13 seconds.

Small Bad Voodoo: Vol'Jin sends magic surging through the spears stuck in enemies, destroying them and dealing 93.74 (+4% per level) damage to the enemy.

[W] Serpent Ward
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Mana: 90

Vol'Jin places an immobile Serpent Ward with 256.43 (+4% per level) Health, which attacks nearby enemies for 92.37 (+4% per level) damage per second. Lasts 10 seconds.

Small Bad Voodoo: Upgrades the Serpent Ward to have 50% increased Health, and fire a thin stream of poison instead of Basic Attacks. The poison deals 52.74 (+4% per level) damage per second to all enemies in a line, plus an additional 175.32 (+4% per level) damage over 9 seconds.

Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cost: 50

Vol'Jin calls upon the power of the Loa Lukou, creating healing rain in an area that restores 528.43 (+4% per level) Health over 7 seconds.

Small Bad Voodoo: The rain turns acidic, dealing 528.43 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in the area over the duration.

Vol'Jin places an immobile Sight Ward with 174.24 (+4% per level) Health and permanent Stealth to reveal a large nearby area. Lasts 45 seconds.

Small Bad Voodoo: The ward can see through walls and reveals nearby Stealthed enemies.

Cooldown: 60 seconds

Activate to place a ward on the ground that heals allies in an area for 1.95% of their max Health every second for 10 seconds.

Vol'Jin transforms an enemy into a frog for 2 seconds, slowing them by 30%, Silencing them and making them unable to attack.

Small Bad Voodoo: The Hexed enemy becomes Vulnerable for the duration, increasing the damage they take by 25%.

Cooldown: 100 seconds
Mana: 90

Vol'Jin channels for up 2 seconds, summoning 6 Spirits with 153.73 (+4% per level) Health each around him. The Spirits follow Vol'Jin around, and attack nearby enemies for 36.43 (+4% per level) damage per second. Each Spirit grants Vol'Jin 15% Damage Reduction and 5% increased Ability Power. The Spirits last for 12 seconds.

Small Bad Voodoo: The Spirits surge out and explode for 134.22 (+4% per level) damage on the closest enemy Hero.

Some Talents

Level 1:

Sight Ward: Replaces Serpent Ward with Sight Ward.
Rain Dance: Quest: Regeneration Globes increase the healing of Rain of Lukou by 25, up to 500.
Reward: After gathering 20 Globes, increase the radius of the rain by 30%.
Rule of Three: Every third Dark Spear will deal 30% increased damage and deal 123.12 (+4% per level) damage in an area.
Gathering Shadows: Quest: Using Small Bad Voodoo to damage enemies with spears in them increase the damage of the surge by 10, up to 200.
Reward: Enemies are also slowed by 25% for 2 seconds when hit by the surge.

Level 4:

Poisoned Spears: Enemies take 11.32 (+4% per level) damage per second as long as they have a spear in them.
Healing Ward: Activate to place a ward on the ground that heals allies in an area for 1.95% of their max Health every second for 10 seconds.
Distant Snake: Increase the cast range of Serpent Ward by 100%.
Muddy Ground: Rain of Lukou turns the ground muddy, slowing enemies by 20%. The mud remains for 1.5 seconds after the rain ends.

Level 7:

Drizzle: When casting Rain of Lukou, a small rain cloud follows Vol'Jin overhead, applying 50% of the effects in a small area around him.

Hoodoo Voodoo: Small Bad Voodoo can store 2 charges.

Level 16:

Lightning Cloud: Rain of Lukou fires a lightning bolt at a random enemy Hero in range every 2.75 seconds, dealing 214.21 (+4% per level) damage.

Level 20:

Ssssneak Attack: Hex summons two Serpent Wards to attack the target. Slow increased to 50%, and duration to 2.5 seconds.
Spirits Unleashed: Whenever Vol'Jin uses Small Bad Voodoo, a Spirit is summoned at his side for 10 seconds. The Spirits from Restless Spirits last for 20 seconds.
