Vol'jin

Chieftain of the Darkspear

Vol'jin is a mobile Multi-Class Hero who can be built as a combo Assassin who strikes from the shadows with poison damage, or a Support able to shut down opponents and mitigate damage done to allies.


Health: 1650 (+4% per level)
Health Regen: 4 (+4% per level)
Attack Speed: 0.9 per second
Basic Attack Damage: 90 (+4% per level)

Passive

Vol'jin's abilities cost Voodoo. 10 Voodoo is generated each time Vol'jin damages an enemy Hero, and 1 each time Vol'jin damages an enemy Minion, to a maximum of 100 Voodoo at any time. Participating in a Takedown refills Vol'jin's Voodoo. If Vol'jin has been in a bush or vent in the last 2.5 seconds, his Basic Ability cooldowns recharge 50% faster.

Cooldown: 13 seconds

Vol'jin stabs his spear forward in a line. If any enemy Heroes are hit, Vol'jin channels for up to 2 seconds, during which time the first enemy Hero hit is Stunned, and takes 50 (+4% per level) damage every 0.5 seconds.

Spirit Jar

Voodoo: 30
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Vol'jin throws a jar of evil spirits on the ground, creating an area that lasts for three seconds that deals 32 (+4% per level) damage to any enemy in it every 0.25 seconds.

Shadow Meld

Voodoo: 30
Cooldown: 7 seconds

Vol'jin targets a bush or vent within a medium range and blinks to it.

Heroic Abilities

Bwonsamdi's Call

Voodoo: 50
Cooldown: 50 seconds

Vol'jin calls upon Bwomsamdi to draw out the soul of a nearby enemy to empower his allies, dealing 20% of a target enemy Hero's maximum health to them in damage and healing all nearby allied Heroes for the same amount.

Visage of Terror

Voodoo: 50
Cooldown: 75 seconds


Vol'jin teleports to a target location and tranforms into the image of a Loa, dealing 450 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies nearby and Fearing the closest enemy Hero within range for 3.5 seconds.

Level 1 Talents

Accumulate 1000 Voodoo.
Reward: (D) Healin' Rituals.
Voodoo: 30
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Vol'jin heals allied Heroes within a target area for 30 (+4%) Health every 0.25 seconds over 2 seconds.

Passive
Vol'jin also gains 5 Voodoo each time he heals an allied Hero. Vol'jin's healing abilities heal for 50% more Health if he has been in a bush or vent in the last 2.5 seconds.

Accumulate 1000 Voodoo.
Reward: (D) Summonin' Rituals.
Voodoo: 30
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Vol'jin empowers his next damaging Basic Ability with the power of the Loa of Death, causing it to deal 30% increased damage.

Passive
The damage of Vol'jin's damaging Basic Abilities ticks twice as fast for 50% of the damage, effectively doubling the amount of Voodoo they generate. Vol'jin's damaging abilities deal 50% more damage if he has been in a bush or vent in the last 2.5 seconds.

Level 4 Talents

(D) Dark Rituals:

Vol'jin generates 10 Voodoo per second while in bushes or vents.

(1) Guardian Spirit:

Cooldown: 45 seconds
Activate to place a guardian spirit with 500 (+4% per level) health that reveals a large area around it and provides allied Heroes within its area with 15 Spell Armor. Lasts for 15 seconds.

(E) Shadow Blink:

Range of Shadow Meld is increased by 25%, and its cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds.

Level 7 Talents

(Q) Crippling Poison:

Enemies hit by Envenomed Spear are slowed by 20% for 2 seconds after the Root expires.

(W) Spiritual Regeneration:

All nearby allied Heroes are healed for 40% of the damage dealt by Spirit Jar to non-Hero enemies.

(W) Feed on the Living:

Enemy Heroes have their armour reduced by 5 each time they take damage from Hungering Spirits, to a maximum of -20 Armor.

Level 13 Talents

(D) Witch-Doctor's Orders:

Healin' Rituals heals for 25% more health when Vol'jin is above 60 Voodoo.

(W) Grasping Undead:

Enemy Heroes caught in the area of effect of Spirit Jar are Slowed by 2.5% each time it damages them, to a maximum of a 25% Slow, for 1.5 seconds. Each time Spirit Jar damages an enemy Hero, the duration of their Slow is refreshed.

(E) Strike from Darkness:

Within 2 seconds of blinking with Shadow Meld, Vol'jin's next Basic Ability deals 20% increased damage.

Level 16 Talents

(2) Hex of Ogoun:

Voodoo: 40
Cooldown: 45 seconds
Vol'jin Polymorphs a target enemy Hero for 1.5 seconds.

(2) Bolt of Shango:

Voodoo: 30
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Vol'jin hurls a bolt of lightning to a target location, dealing 100 (+4% per level) damage and slowing enemy Heroes in the effected area by 35% for 1.5 seconds.

(E) Blessing of Legba:

Vol'jin gains 25% increased movement speed for 2.5% seconds after casting Shadow Meld.

Level 20 Talents

(R) Power of the Death God:

The healing of Bwonsamdi's Call is increased by 1% for every point of Voodoo Vol'jin currently has, and its cooldown is reduced by 5 seconds for every allied Hero healed by it.

(R) Embodiment of the Shadowlands:

Visage of Terror now Fears all enemy Heroes within its range.

(E) One with the Darkness:

Shadow Meld gains 50% increased range and 3 charges.
