Combat Trait

D - Nightmares
Your damaging abilities apply Nightmares on their targets for 3 seconds.


Quest!: Have Nightmares active on enemy heroes. Refreshing Nightmares on an enemy hero adds 2 extra stacks. Multiple enemy Heroes provide additional stacks.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 150 seconds, increase your damage dealt by 10%.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 300 seconds, your Nightmare ticks reduce the cooldown of your basic abilities by 0.75 seconds. This cannot trigger more than once per second.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 450 seconds, further increase your damage dealt by 10%.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 600 seconds, your Nightmare ticks increase all damage you deal by 1% for 5 seconds. This stacks up to 15%.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 750 seconds, further increase your damage dealt by 10%.

Reward!: After having Nightmares up for 900 seconds, gain access to a second talent of each tier. You cannot select your second heroic or a second storm tier talent.

Primary Abilities

Q - Dark Mark
Create a demonic rune in target area, which after 1.5 seconds, detonates, dealing high damage to enemies in it. If a target struck is afflicted by Nightmares, they take an extra 50% of the flat damage dealt by the rune. This extra damage ignores Armor.

7 sec cooldown. High mana cost. Around the same range as Kael'thas' Flamestrike.

W - Satyr's Brand
Link yourself to an enemy for up to 3 seconds. For every second the target remains near you, the target takes medium damage and loses 5 Armor for 2 seconds. If the tethered enemy is afflicted by Nightmares when this ability is cast, their movement speed is reduced by 35% over the duration of the tether.

8 sec cooldown. Medium mana cost. Around the same range as Gul'dan's talented Drain Life.

E - Nightmare Bolt
Launch a bolt of nightmares in a straight line, dealing high damage to the first enemy hero hit and stunning them for 1.5 seconds. If the target is afflicted by Nightmares, the stun is increased by 0.25 seconds and enemies around the target are struck for medium damage.

13 sec cooldown. Medium mana cost. Around the same range and speed of Jaina's Frostbolt.

1 - Dream Eater
Requires Tier 6 Talent

Activate to deal 10% of the target's health and heal yourself for 200% of the damage dealt. The damage done by this is doubled if the target is stunned and afflicted by Nightmares.

60 sec cooldown. Same range as the Blood for Blood talent.

2 - Nightmare Blades
Requires Tier 7 Talent

Activate to send fast blades in a straight line that deal high damage and ignore Armor.

10 sec cooldown. Around the same range as Xul's Bone Spear.

Heroic Abilities

R1 - Rift Warp
Step into the nightmare, teleporting a short distance and gaining full, unbreakable stealth for 1.5 seconds. This ability can be used up to 3 times within 5 seconds per cast before incurring a cooldown.

50 sec cooldown. Medium mana cost per cast. Around the same range as Li-Ming's talented Teleport.

R2 - Crushing Shadows
After 5 seconds, slam down a target area, dealing incomprehensible amounts of damage split evenly between all units and structures struck, and stunning them for 2.25 seconds.

100 sec cooldown. High mana cost. Global range.

Talents

Tier 1:
D - Induced Paranoia: When an enemy afflicts you with crowd control, they're feared for 1.5 seconds and afflicted by Nightmares for that duration. 45 sec cooldown.
D - Shade Armor: You passively gain shields equal to 25% of all spell damage dealt, that last 4 seconds.
D - Nightmare Infusion: You gain 10 Armor for each enemy in a small radius near you.

Tier 2:
Q - Feed on the Weak: Dark Mark now instantly kills minions. Killing minions this way increases the counter on your Nightmares quest by 1.
E - Recurrence: Nightmare Bolt's cooldown is reduced by 4 seconds for each enemy hero hit by the main projectile.
W - Growing Agony: Your Satyr's Brand ticks now deal 5% of the target's maximum health as damage.
D - Unstable Nightmares: Whenever your Nightmares quest increases your damage done by 10%, it is further increased by 5%, but your maximum health is reduced by 5%.

Tier 3:
W - Vivid Brand: If the tether lasts its full duration, the target takes bonus medium damage and is rooted for 1.25 seconds.
W - Locked in a Nightmare: Satyr's Brand now lasts 2 more seconds.
E - Trailing Darkness: Nightmare Bolt creates a trail of darkness along its path, which slows enemies by 25% and increases your movement speed and damage dealt by 15%. The trail lasts 4 seconds.
D - Festering Rip: Whenever you cast an ability, your next basic attack within 3.5 seconds deals splash damage in a small radius and applies Nightmares.

Tier 4:
R1 - Rift Warp
R2 - Crushing Shadows

Tier 5:
Q - Blackening Soul: Dark Mark creates a large area that reduces healing received by 75%. The area lasts 5 seconds. This effect cannot trigger more than once in 2 seconds.
E - Nightmare Flurry: Nightmare Bolt hits up to 2 heroes.
D - Lucid Dreamer: Your basic abilities' range is increased by 33%.

Tier 6:
Q - Cycling Darkness: If Dark Mark hits at least one enemy hero, its cooldown is reset.
W - Grasp of the Satyr: Your basic attacks on your tethered target deal 250% increased damage.
1 - Dream Eater: Activate to deal 10% of the target's health and heal yourself for 200% of the damage dealt. The damage done by this is doubled if the target is stunned and afflicted by Nightmares. 60 sec cooldown.

Tier 7:
R1 - Echoing Rift: Rift Warp now echoes a large pulse around you, slowing enemies by 70% for 2 seconds.
R2 - Apocalyptic Empowerment: Crushing Shadows increases your damage done by 3% for 10 seconds for each enemy hit.
D - Never-Ending Nightmare: Nightmares last 1.5 more seconds. Each second Nightmares is active reduces the target's Armor by 2, up to 30.
2 - Nightmare Blades: Activate to send fast blades in a straight line that deal high damage and ignore Armor. 10 sec cooldown.
