Xevozz (Complete Concept)

Illegal Weapons Dealer

Bio:

Xevozz is a man with little known background. As with most Ethereals - his story is a mystery and like pretty much all of his brethren, his main goal has been to sell products and gain profit of it like how most of his kind has the mindset akin to that of Goblins: sell the most to earn the most, yet Xevozz crossed a line which he should not have. Unlike the Ethereals of the Consortium whom has shown to be possible to work with and do propper deals with, Xevozz started selling weapons to the Burning Legion which even for these shady travelers of the Twisting Nether: is considered taboo and punishable. In the end he was imprisoned by the Kirin Tor within the Violet Hold in Dalaran, yet after the prison fell and a party of brave adventurers had cleared the prison out, the remains of what was believed to be Xevozz turned out to be someone else, indicating that he had already made his escape from the prison beforehand and that the Kirin Tors information of that Xevozz was a arcane casting spell user; was false. Now as the Nexus has become known to most races from the Great Dark, Xevozz sees new possibilities, yet he has learned from past mistakes. So before new trade deals can start, hostilities and unwelcome costumers must be cleared out.

Xevozz takes up the role as a agile melee assassin, who focuses on movement, quick bursts of damage mixed with one of the core traits that most ethereals has - afterimages.


Baste stats:


- Base Health: 1845 (+4 % per level)
- Health regen: 3.88 (+4 % per level)


- Mana: 500 (+ 4% per level)
- Mana regen: 3


- Speed: 4.39

Basic attack:


Xevozz strikes targets with his arcane daggers for basic attacks.

- Base damage: 99 (+4 % per level)
- Attack speed: 1.6
- Attack range: 1.3

Combat Trait

D - Afterimages
For each 1 range Xevozz walks, he will leave behind a afterimage that covers the 1 range behind him that he just walked. Only 1 afterimage can be active at one time; unless an ability or talent alters this, and if Xevozz stops walking, then his latest afterimage will disappear after 0.5 seconds.

An afterimage is untargetable, has no health, can be walked trough by allies and hostile units yet it works like a dummy for Xevozz, allowing the afterimage to soak up a single projectile or skillshot that comes into contact with it, negating all damage it would deal as long as it hits the afterimage.

Primary Abilities

Q - Spectral Stab
Instantly teleport behind the chosen target and deal 358 (+ 4% per level) damage. Once the damage has been dealt, Xevozz will automatically take a step away from the targets back, dropping a afterimage in front of him which lasts for 1 second.

Range: 8
Mana: 55
Cooldown: 9 Seconds.

W - Power Slash
Instantly lash out both daggers within a 90 degree cone directly in front and behind you for 3.5 range, dealing 292 (+ 4% per level) damage to anyone within the cones. Doing this will cause your next Power Slash to lash out for the same cone width and range but to your left and right hand side. Your next Power Slash will now again cover your front and back, and so the ability rotates each time it's used.

Each time Power Slash is preformed, the 2 cones that was not covered by the slash will leave behind a afterimage which lasts for 1 second.

Mana: 40
Cooldown: 5 Seconds.

E - Arcane Bound Dagger
Throw a Arcane Bound Dagger down the chosen path which will deal 274 (+ 4% per level) damage to the first target it hits. The target will then become rooted for 1.25 seconds followed by a 25% movement speed slow for 1.75 seconds.

If the target hit is a hero, then a afterimage will spawn midway between Xevozz and the hero he damaged. This afterimage lasts for 1 second.

Mana: 75
Cooldown: 10 Seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Phantasm Walk
For the next 8 seconds, each time you walk 1 range, you will spawn a series of afterimages all around you. You will spawn afterimages up to 4 range away from yourself in 8 different directions and all afterimages will come from you as a center point. These afterimages has the same effect as your usual ones with the added bonus of that they slow the movement speed of anything hostile which comes into contact with them by 50% for 1 second. These afterimages is also almost invisible to your allies as to not confuse them but is fully visible to hostile units.

Passive: All afterimages now lasts for 1 second longer.

Mana: 90
Cooldown: 110 Seconds.

R - Arcane Wraith
Once active, Xevozz will transform into a Arcane Wraith, granting him 50% movement speed, 25% attack speed, 25% ability recharge rate, 25% ability power and the possibility to pass trough terrain and other heroes for 10 seconds, but he will also take 25% increased damage. During this time, Xevozz can not spawn any afterimages, and his abilities changes names as he does not hold daggers while in this form: (Q) Nexus Stab. (W) Arcane Slash. (E) Mana Bound Missile.

Passive: Upon death, Xevozz will now turn into an unattackable Arcane Wraith which can wander around the battlefield. In this form, Xevozz can not deal any damage but he can speed up his respawn timer. By standing close to heroes that uses mana on abilities, Xevozz will consume the mana in the air, reducing his respawn timer by 1 second per 150 mana that is used around him.

Cooldown: 90 Seconds.

Talents

Level 1



- Fools Projection: Afterimages that soaks up any form of damage will not disapear but will instead remain active for 1 more second. This afterimage can not soak damage but will slow the movement speed of anything hostile that comes into contact with it by 15% for 1.5 seconds.


- Combo Stikes: Quest: Hitting hostile heroes with Power Slash will increase it's cone of function by 1.5 degrees each way per hero hit.
Reward 15 Hero Hits: Increase Power Slash's damage by 75%
Reward 30 Hero Hits: If Power Slash deals damage to a hero, a afterimage will spawn in front of the damaged hero for 1 second.


- Numbing Strikes: Power Slash now slows the attack speed of any hostile unit hit by 25% for 4 seconds.


- Kickback: Using Spectral Stab on a hero no longer spawns a afterimage but will cause you to cling onto the hero for 1.5 seconds. After these 1.5 seconds you will kick away from the hero in whichever direction your choose. During the 1.5 seconds you are stuck to the hero, you will basic attack 3 times.

Level 4



- Protective Shroud: Whenever a afterimage from your basic abilities (Q) (W) (E) soaks up damage, it will grant 15 Armor to a nearby allied hero for 1.5 seconds, this will prioritize heroes on low health.


- Anchored Dagger: Arcane Bound Dagger will have it's cooldown recuced by 4 seconds if it lands on a hostile hero.


- Deflecting Blades: Taking ability damage will cause the attacker to take 20% of the damage they dealt back.


- Bursting Strikes: Activate to cause your basic attacks within the next 10 seconds to splash for 60% damage, using abilities extends this duration by 1.5 seconds. Cooldown: 45 Seconds.

Level 7



- Shimmering Step: For 2.5 seconds after using Spectral Stab, you can re-activate the ability to teleport yourself to the opposite side which you are currently facing the target you attacked. You will be teleported 3 range away and midway between you and the target; an afterimage will spawn for 1 second.


Seal the deal: Quest: Using Spectral Stab on a hero and then succeeding to kill said hero within 1 second will grant you 6% ability power, stacking up to 60% This bonus ability power is lost upon death.


- Overcharged Throw: Arcane Bound Dagger will send out two adjacent daggers to the left and the right hand side of whichever target they hit. These adjacent daggers deal 50% of the original Arcane Bound Daggers damage and if they hit anything hostile, a afterimage will spawn in front of said hostile unit for 1 second.


- Consumption Strikes: Basic attacks also steals 3% of the targets total mana and returns 6% to you. If you are at full mana, the 6% will be distributed evenly among nearby allied heroes who is not at mana cap.

Level 10 (R) - Ultimates



- Phantasmal Walk.


- Arcane Wraith.

Level 13



- Consume and Return: Afterimages now explodes if they soak up damage, dealing 75% of the damage they tok back in a small area.


- Driving Force: For each hostile unit hit by Power Slash, it's cooldown will be reduced by 0.2 seconds and it's next use will deal 4% more damage per unit hit. This empowered Power Slash can not power up another Power Slash.


- Adventurer Slayer: Basic Attacks deals damage equal to 3% of the targets total maximum health.


- Leeching Blades: Basic attacks heal for 30% of the damage done.

Level 16



- Exposing Wounds: All hostile heroes hit with Power Slash will take 150% increased damage from your next basic attack for 3 seconds and they will then bleed for 30% of the basic attack damage taken over 4 seconds.


- Set up and Execute: Arcane Bound Dagger will make the target vulnerable, increasing all damage they take by 15% for 2.5 seconds.


- Inner Power: Activate: Release 3 Arcane Sparks in a triangle formation around you. These sparks are stationary and will detonate after 4 seconds, dealing damage equal to 125% of the damage you dealt within those 4 seconds per spark. Cooldown: 60 Seconds.


- Lending a Hand: Activate to increase the Ability Power or Basic Attack damage of all nearby allied heroes by 50% for 3 seconds. If the buff is Basic Damage or Ability Power will be determined depending on what hero receives the buff. Cooldown: 60 Seconds.

Level 20



- Mirage: When Phantasm Walk is active, Afterimages will now also spawn all around the map, revealing the areas they spawn on. These afterimages lasts for 3 seconds.


- Unstable Mana Beast: All benefits and downsides with Arcane Wraith receives 15% additional effect. If you die while Arcane Wraith is active, you will explode for damage equal to all damage you had dealt in Arcane Wraith form up and until the moment of death to all hostile units within a large area. It takes 3 seconds before this detonation goes off.


- Mana Conduit: You now only need 50 mana while dead as a Arcane Wraith to speed up your respawn time by 2 seconds.


- Blessing of K'aresh: Afterimages can take 3 ticks of damage before disappearing and they all last for 4 seconds.


- Nexus Stalker: Basic Attacks gains 2 more range and deals 15% more dmaage.

Skin suggestions

This is Xevozz's basic appearance (Black and Grey with Purple Arcane)

He will of course still use daggers and not the weapons seen on these images.


For a Master Skin I was thinking of something influenced by the Void Lords that destroyed their home planet, essentially somehow mixing the appearances above with this:
