Velen's Chosen

Yrel is a priestess turned paladin chosen by Velen to continue uniting the Draenei tribes. A hero with many healing abilities with tanking statistics that can be tuned towards full-time support, supporting on the front-lines, or tanking by healing herself most of all.

Combat Trait

Gift of the Naaru
Range: Stitches pull range
Cooldown: 20 seconds

Heal the target for X% of their total health over Y seconds.

Suggestion for X: 30%?

Primary Abilities

Holy Fire
Range: Tychus' grenade range.
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana: 60

Deal X damage to target and an additional Y damage over Z seconds.

Consecration
Radius: Azmodan's dunkball
Cooldown: Y seconds
Mana: 50

Consecrate the ground you are standing on, dealing X damage every 1 second, lasts Y seconds.

Suggestion for Y: 8 seconds?

Range: Dehaka's pull
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Mana: 30

Deal X damage to target.

Heroic Abilities

Range: untalented Toxic Nest
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Mana: 50


Passive: Basic attacks refresh any Judgment effects and reduces Judgment cooldown by X seconds.

Active: Activate to slow all targets affected by Judgment effects by Y% for Z seconds.

Suggestion for X: 2 seconds?
Suggestion for Y: 70%?

Radius: Kael'thas Phoenix
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Mana: 100

Create a ring of light that quickly expands, dealing X damage to enemies and Y healing to allies.

Sacrifice of O'ros
Range: Tassadar's Shield
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Mana: 40

Sacrifice X% of your current health to heal a target for X*2% health. Cannot sacrifice such that you drop below 20% health.

Suggestion for X: 30%?

Special Mount

Divine Steed
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Instantly mount up, normal mount speed. Gain Unstoppable for X seconds, you cannot be dismounted by enemy attacks while you are Unstoppable.

Level 1

Judgment of Light | Judgment now applies Judgment of Light to the target, causing basic attacks made against the target to heal the attacker for X.
Judgment of Vengeance | Judgment now applies Judgment of Vengeance to the target, causing basic attacks made against the target to slow the target by Y% for Z seconds.
Judgment of Sanctity | Judgment now applies Judgment of Sanctity to the target, causing basic attacks made against the target heal you for B.

Judgment effects all last for 8 seconds.

Level 4

Consecrated Ground | Enemies within your Consecration are slowed for X%.
Circle of Healing | Allies within your Consecration are healed for Y every second.
Healing Fire | Your Holy Fire can now also be targeted on allies, healing for Z and an additional A over B seconds.
Holy Shield | Ability: Gain 3 charges of Block, reducing damage taken from the next enemy Hero basic attacks by 50% and deals C damage to the attacker. (Cooldown 15 seconds)

Level 7

Light of the Naaru | Reduce the cooldown of your Gift of the Naaru by X seconds.
Rays of Atonement | Your Holy Fire on enemy Heroes now slows for Y%, lasting Z seconds.
Cavalier | Your Divine Steed now has two charges.

Level 13

Blessing of the Naaru | Gift of the Naaru now heals 50% of its total healing immediately, and provides X% bonus movement speed.
Surge of Light | Holy Fire now has two charges.
Holy Nova | Holy Fire also deals Z% damage to enemies near the impact.
Pursuit of Justice | Allies within your Consecration gain A% bonus movement speed.

Level 16

Avenging Wrath | Ability: Increases all damage and healing you deal by X% for Y seconds. (Cooldown 60 seconds)
Long Arm of the Law | Increases the range of your Judgment by Z%.
Holy Crusade | When you use Divine Steed, allies nearby gain 30% movement speed for A seconds.
Imposing Presence | Generic Ability

Avenging Wrath grants pretty angelic wings.

Level 20

Fist of A'dal | Hand of A'dal active ability now stuns instead of slows.
Beacon of T'uure | Increases the radius by X%. Enemies hit by the ring are now slowed for Y%. Allies hit by the ring gain Z% movement speed.
Atonement of O'ros | Sacrifice 33% less health and gain a shield equal to the sacrificed health, lasting A seconds.
Storm Shield | Generic Ability
Xera's Gift | Gift of the Naaru also casts an untalented Gift of the Naaru on yourself.

The problem with varian and multiclassing (atm, since theres only 1 example) is that he doesnt really come into his own until level 10, as level 4 is nowhere extreme enough to really showcase the ability to multiclass, and your suggestions with 1-7 do not seem to really help offset this issue.

Overall the concept does feel a bit generic and has problems with not really being a multiclass until later on, but I LOVE the mount option (even if unstoppable seems unbalanced) and Sacrafice of O'Ros, which brings in the idea of sacraficing health to heal (atm its just your second resource, mana or hope)

I like the lore a ton behind playing this character, however, her Q, W and E don't have any utility unless talented into. Maybe go through and make some talents baseline so that her kit can have more variance in talents. Additionally, her trait being a heal regardless of talent choice makes her more like kharazim and less like multiclass. I like the variance in her Level one talents, so maybe have them affect, or determine, her trait to allow her to diversify herself more completely into a tank or healer. Other than that, great concept.

If I understand it correctly, Hand of A'dal is a direct DPS loss because you cannot cast E on a target already suffering from its effect?

True, I put that there for a talent idea I had that isn't actually there anymore!
