Yrel's built to use friendly minion waves to her advantage. She can easily push lanes when left unattended, especially later in the game. However, she suffers from weak mobility, and can be rendered defenseless when found without nearby friendly minions or heroes. This also makes her weaker on objective-based maps, especially when the objectives are far away from the lanes.
However, her power can increase considerably later in the game. As the game progresses, she can use minion waves to exert pressure in multiple lanes at a time, or push a lane that was left exposed by the enemy team. With careful planning, Yrel can force her enemies to over-extend, allowing her to create weak points later in the game.
Pros:
- Decent solo-laning abilities, as long as minions are nearby.
- Her minions can create a great deal of pressure on the battlefield later in the game.
- Can use minion waves to help take Mercenary camps.
- Constant, short-ranged heals.
Cons:
- Significantly weaker when minions aren't nearby.
- Can struggle on certain maps, particular ones with objectives that are far away from the lanes, such as Battlefield of Eternity or the Haunted Mines.
