Combat Trait

Arcane Dynamo
Passive

Upon using any basic ability, gain one charge of Flash of Insight. After 5 Flashes of Insight, your next basic attack deals 60% additional damage.

Primary Abilities

Slow Time (Q)
Active

Cooldown: 30 seconds
Cost: 50 Mana

Invoke a bubble of warped time and space at your target location reducing enemy attack speed by 20% and movement by 10%. Enemy projectiles are slowed by 50%. The bubble lasts for 3 seconds. (The spell's radius would be significantly smaller than Diablo 3, about twice the size of Tyrande's Lunar Flare.)

Summon Hydra (W)
Active

Cooldown: 20 Seconds
Cost: 40 Mana

Summon a multi-headed hydra that attacks enemies with bolts of fire, inflicting 10 (+12/Level) damage per bolt. Lasts for 5 seconds.

Cooldown: 25 Seconds
Cost: 30 Mana

Summon a Familiar that attacks your target for 15 (+8/Level) damage. Lasts for 10 seconds.

Surround yourself in a barrier of ice that reduces enemy attack damage by 12%. Melee enemies are frozen for 3 seconds, but take no damage. Lasts for 12 seconds.

Imbues Yuliseth's weapon with arcane power increasing the damage of all abilities by 10% for 3 seconds.

Summon an immense Meteor that hits an area for 50 (+21/Level) damage. The ground it hits is scorched with molten fire that deals 5 (+7/Level) damage for 3 seconds.

Channel a beam of pure energy that deals 48 (+28/level) damage per second for 4 seconds over an unlimited range. Yuliseth cannot move while using this ability, but it can be aimed while firing. The ability cannot pass through targets or obstacles.

Mirror Image (R)
Active

Cooldown: 50 Seconds
Cost: 60 Mana

Summon 2 illusionary duplicates of yourself that last for 7 seconds and have 50% of your maximum health. Basic attacks from your Mirror Images deal 10% damage. However, they are able to cast basic abilities that suffer no penalty.

Talents

TIER 1 - LEVEL 1:

1. Seasoned Marksman: For every 6 minion kills or Mercenary kills near your Hero, gain 1 Basic Attack Damage. Hero takedowns count as 2 Minion kills.

2. Regeneration Master: Collecting regeneration globes permanently increases Health regeneration by 1.5 per second.

3. In No Time: Reduces the Mana cost of Slow Time by 20.

4. Inner Power: Increases all damage by 1% per level but decreases your maximum health by 2% per level.

Tier 2 - Level 4:

1. Sparkflint: Summoning your Familiar now increases basic attack damage by 10%.

2. Icicle: Your Familiar's attacks now chill the target for 1 second.

3. Arcanot: While your Familiar is summoned your Mana regeneration is increased by 4.5 per second.

4. Ancient Guardian: While Yuliseth is below 50% Health, Familiar while completely absorb any attack every 6 seconds.

Tier 3 - Level 7:

1. Time Shell: Increases the movement speed reduction of Slow Time to 80%.

2. Exhaustion: Enemies trapped by Slow Time deal 25% less damage.

3. Time Warp: Enemies trapped by Slow Time receive an extra 15% damage from all attacks.

4. Point Of No Return: Enemies that enter or leave Slow Time are stunned for 1 second.

Tier 4 - Level 10:

1. Disintegrate

Tier 5 - Level 13:

1. Ice Armor: Surround yourself in a barrier of ice that reduces enemy attack damage by 12%. Melee enemies are frozen for 3 seconds, but take no damage. Lasts for 12 seconds.

2. Evocation: All cooldowns are reduced by 20%.

3. Arc Lightening: Electrocute is now fired in a cone reducing its range but increasing its damage by 100%.

4. Time Expansion: The size of the Slow Time bubble is increased by 50%.

Tier 5 - Level 13:

1. Arcane Hydra: Summon Hydra now fires exploding bolts that hit enemies close to the original target for 50% damage.

2. Frost Hydra: Summon Hydra now fires a wide cone that chills enemies.

3. Lightning Hydra: Summon Hydra now fires electric bolts that hit targets instantly, preventing evasion.

4. Venom Hydra: Summon Hydra now fires venomous bolts that do an additional 18 (+3/level) damage over 3 seconds and leaves a venomous pool of acid that deals 5 (+1/level) damage that remains for 3 seconds. The pool deals 50% more damage to structures.

5. Magic Weapon: Imbues Yuliseth's weapon with arcane power increasing the damage of all abilities by 10% for 3 seconds.

Tier 6 - Level 16:

1. Double Dragon: Can hold up to 2 charges of Summon Hydra. Mirror Images do not gain this bonus.

2. Audacity: All damage done to enemies that are in melee range of Yuliseth is increased by 15%.

3. Ice Reflect: While Ice Armor is active there is a 40% chance that attacking enemies while be frozen for 3 seconds.

4. Meteor: Summon an immense Meteor that hits an area for 50 (+21/level) damage. The ground it hits is scorched with molten fire that deals 5 (+7/level) damage for 3 seconds.

Tier 7 - Level 20:

1. Intensify: Enemies hit by Disintegrate receive an extra 15% damage per second. Disintegrate now lasts for 5 seconds.

2. Mocking Demise: If an Image is destroyed, it explodes for 300 damage and stuns any enemies caught in the blast for 2 seconds.

3. Glass Cannon: All damage dealt is increase by 15%, but Yuliseth's maximum health is reduced by 10%.

5. Bolt Of The Storm: Activate to teleport to a nearby location.

Creator's Notes

Currently we have every Diablo 3 class represented except for the Wizard. This is something I would like to see changed as I loved the Wizard in Diablo 3. As such, I have created this character in a way that is loyal to its Diablo 3 incarnation. As you can see a lot of the tier mile stones focus on one ability, allowing for a variety of builds.

I know all the Diablo 3 characters have been female expect for Nazeebo, but I chose female as I think the Wizard looks better as a woman.

So a player could play her as an area denial character that deals high burst damage or if a player is feeling brave they may opt for a glass cannon build that deals huge damage but makes you very fragile.


Please offer your thoughts in the comments below as I really want to make this character the best it can be.

Frequently asked questions:

1. Why venom hydra? Wasn't this removed in Diablo 3?
    
Yes it was, that is why I think it would be nice in Heroes. A bit of nostalgia watching minions melt in pools of acid would be cool.

2. Why Electrocute as opposed to something like spectral blades?

I always preferred the animation to Electrocute. Also, I wanted a basic attack that was more group focused for less damage. Basically, discouraging the opponents from grouping up too often.

3. She is clearly an assassin. Were you going for a glass cannon?

Absolutely. I really feel that a character with so much destructive potential should also be squishy.

4. What kind of builds would be possible?

I think this is clear just looking at the talents, but the most obvious two are the zoning harassment build that gives you more utility and survivability or the straight up glass cannon. 

For example a pure glass cannon would take the following talents:

Inner Power, Sparkflint, Time Warp, Disintegrate, Arc Lightning, Magic Weapon, Audacity, Glass Cannon

This would increase her damage by 185% for basic attacks and 75% for basic and heroic abilities assuming the enemy is trapped by Slow Time and Magic Weapon is on. However her maximum health would be reduced by 50% making her even more squishy than she already is. You would also miss out on some spells such as Meteor and Ice Armor. Of course, hybrid builds would be viable too.
