Zars

the Devouring One


Description:
Zars is a Devouring One, a Zergling that is more powerful and resilient than its standard counterpart. Zars was in the control of Ulrezaj and he planed to use Zars and others Devouring Ones to attack Shakuras, but his plan was foiled by heroes dispatched by Zeratul. Like many Zerglings, Zars was presumed dead and no one would care what hapened to him, or where he was gone...

Level 1 Stats:
Health ~ 1315 (+4% per lvl) / Health Regeneration ~ 2.82 per second (+4% per lvl)
Damage ~ 107 (+4% per lvl) / Attack Speed ~ 2.02 per second 
Mana ~ This hero don't use Mana / Mana Regeneration ~ This hero don't use Mana

Overview:
I know what you are thinking "A Zergling concept? Just ONE and not a Swarm? Well, that does't make any sense." YES, you re right, but this is not a normal Zergling, this is a Devouring One, and they where realy tanky in Brood War, not a lot, but they where. But the reason that I put a single Zergling instead of a Swarm is because of Body Blocks, having 6 to 8 more bodies on a Team Fight is not a good thing, peaple get Body Blocked by Locusts that can't be cotroled, so a group of Zerglings can do a lot of "damage" without actualy doing damage. So my focus was to try to create a fast hero, that can harass the enemy back line and do a lot of damage if left unchecked, like an actual Zergling Swarm.

Shredding Claws
Zars Basis Attacks decreases armor by 1, stacking up 10 times, for 4 seconds

Primary Abilities

Ability Key: Q
Charges: 2

Zars leap to a target(Allie or Not) and increases his Movement Speed by 10% for 3 seconds(Stacks with Metabolic Boost)

Ability Key: W
Cooldown: 16 seconds

Increases Zars Attack Speed by 50% for 4 seconds

Zerg Regeneration
Ability Key: E
Cooldown: Toggle

Zars heal 1% of his health per second. You can't use Abilities and Metabolic Boost is deactivated when this efect is active

Secondary Abilities

Zars become Unstoppable for 1 second

Zars ignore enemy colision for 2 seconds.

Zars burrow(stealth) and lose the movement speed bonus fo 4 seconds. Damage taken within the first 1 second will not break Burrow.

Heroic Abilities

Raptor Strain
Ability Key: R

Activate to increases the Basic Attack damage by 20% for 4 seconds

Passive:
Leap gain one more charge and doesn't requires a target to leap
Increases the Movement Speed bonus of Metabolic Boost by 10%

Swarmling Strain
Ability Key: Item Menu(1, 2 and 3)

Creates 2 zerglings that you can control, they have the same stats than Zars and can use all of his Basic Abilities and Trait

Passive:
Gives only 1/4 of experience
-10% Health
-10% Basic Attack damage

Note: I thinked in giving him more Zerglings instead of just 2, but as I stated in the Overview, having 6 bodies in one Team Fight is not a good thing, and also, with more Zerglings his trait ll stack faster and can be used in a lot of targets, simultaneously.

Special Mount

Metabolic Boost
Zars don't have a normal mount, instead he moves 20% faster then other heroes

Talents


[Level 1]
-Hunter(Passive)
Quest: Increases Attack Damage by 0.2 for each enemy Minion killed nearby, and 1 for each Hero Takedown.
Reward: After gaining 40 bonus Attack Damage, increases Attack Speed by 40%.
-Aggressive Mutation(Q)
Quest: Basic Attacks against heroes while Adrenal Overload reduces its cooldown by 0.2 seconds, up to 2 seconds.
Reward: Upon reducing 2 seconds, the duration of Adrenal Overload is increased by 2 seconds.
-Speedling(W)
Metabolic Boost can be used while Zerg Regeneration is active, but 50% less efective.

[Level 4]
-Call of Ulrezaj(Z)
Activate Metabolic Boost to become Unstoppable for 1 second.
-Run By(Z)
Activate Metabolic Boost to ignore enemy colision for 2 seconds.
-Burrow(Z)
Activate Metabolic Boost to burrow(stealth) and lose the movement speed bonus fo 4 seconds. Damage taken within the first 1 second will not break Burrow.

[Level 7]
-Aggressive Leap(Q)
Zars leap a short distance when Adrenal Overload is active each 2 seconds.
-Zerg Carapace(E)
Leap gives 15 Magic Armor, reduncing spell damage bt 15%.
-Karak Essence(E)
Basic Attacks decreases the cooldown of Leap by 1 second.

[Level 10]
Ultimates - See Heroic Abilities

[Level 13]
-Devourer(Q)
Basic attacks heal for 30% of the damage dealt when Adrenal Overload is active.
-Fast Adaptation(W)
Zerg Regeneration heal for 2% of maximun health.
-Hardened Carapace(Passive)
Generates a Shield equal of 15% of maximun health.

[Level 16]
-Devouring Claws(Trait)
Shredding Claws now reduces 2 Armor per strike.
-Adrenal Glands(Q)
Adrenal Overload now increases Attack Speed by 100%.
-Leaping Strike(E)
Leap deals 143(+4% per level) damage and apply a stack of Shredding Claws.

[Level 20]
-Agressive(R)
Increases damage bonus by 20%.
-Rapid Genesis(R)
Death timer is decreased by 40% for each Zergling alive and they spawn near a alive Zergling.
-Paralyzing Claws(Trait)
Shredding Claws slows targets Movement Speed by 2%, stacking up 10 times.
-Frenzy(Q)
Basic Attacks increases the duration of Adrenal Overload by 0.5 seconds.
