Zenyatta

Omnic monk

Zenyatta is an omnic robot monk who wanders the world in search of spiritual enlightenment. Now he has found his way into the Nexus where he strive to create relationships and try to make the Nexus a better place. But there are times where Zenyatta must fight to protect the innocent and his freinds.

Zenyatta is a ranged hero who can go down three (or a combination of) different paths (each represented on all the talent tiers.) Balanced, Harmony and Discord. Harmony allows Zenyatta to become more of a healer while Discord makes Zenyatta an assasin, Balanced is a combination of both, but also has the benefit of bring more difficult to kill. This is also repersented in his 2nd trait "Balance of Enlightenment" which makes it so after gains enough "discord" or "harmony", zenyatta can tilt a single direction which causes him to do even more healing or DPS, but this comes at the price of the other (Such as a Zenyatta of discord doesn't do much healing) and both cause him to lose maximum amount of health, becoming more squishy the more devoted they become.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: If anyone has any feedback on tweaking some statistics on Zenyatta's stats, abilities or talents, i'd be delighted to hear them, im pretty new to making heroes and would appreciate any criticism, and even if you think theres a better talent for a spot (Started to have a mind blank near the end and couldn't think up very good talents) id like to hear the idea.

Combat Trait

Complete balance
While both Zenyatta's Orb of Harmony and Orb of Discord are active. Zenyatta gains 10 armor and all of his abilities are empowered.

Balance of Enlightenment
Zenyatta has both Discord and Harmony (the ratio of the two being represented as his mana bar) if either becomes 3 more then the other (such as if Zenyatta had 4 discord but only 1 harmony), he becomes tilted in one direction, either becoming Enshrouded in harmony (if harmony is the biggest) or Enshrouded in discord (if Discord is biggest), this creates a graphic effect so both Zenyatta's allies and enemies are aware he's tilted.

He temporarily gains 1 (to a maxinum of 5) Discord if Zenyatta deals 2,000 hero damage to the target of Orb of discord. He also temporarily gains 1 (to a maxinum of 5) Harmony if he's healed 2,000 while Orb of harmony is on them. Both temporary Harmony and Discorsd last 60 seconds, all lost on death.

While Enshrouded in harmony, he gains 5% increased healing spell power and decreased to all damage for every point difference.

While Enshrouded in discord, he gains 5% increased damage and decreased to all healing spellpower for every point difference.

Either way, he loses maxinum amount of health equal to the difference multiplied by 3 if he is in either state (He becomes easier to kill, the more he focuses on one).

Primary Abilities

Orb volley
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Charge up a volley of orbs (Can be interupted by hard CC and can move while charging), for every 0.6 seconds spent charging, an extra orbs is added up to 6 orbs (4.5 seconds), when released, this shoots the orbs over 1 seconds in a line until they hit an enemy (or gets to the end of it's range). Each orb deals the same amount of damage of his basic attack.

While empowered, if the orbs go through an ally with an Orb of harmony, they instantly gain 50 (+4% per level) for each orb that passes through them. If it hits an enemy with a Orb of discord, each orb (In the same volley) damage is increased by 5% for each orb before it (stacking).

Orb of harmony
Cooldown: 2 seconds

While active on a ally, they gain 35 (+4% per level). It is active until the ally leaves your range (similar to auriel's). Zenyatta can activate the ability again to return the orb, the cooldown doesn't begin until Zenyatta's orb returns.

While empowered, it also decrease's the duration of effects (Stun, blind, etc) by 20% for the target.

Orb of Discord
Cooldown: 2 seconds

While this is active on an enemy, they lose 10 armour. It is active until the enemy leaves your range (similar to auriel's). Zenyatta can activate the ability again to return the orb, the cooldown doesn't begin until Zenyatta's orb returns.

While empowered, this increases to 20 armour but only for Zenyatta.

Heroic Abilities

Transcendence
Zenyatta's becomes enlightened, and can access the iris. This Heroic has two versions, Transcendence of Tranquillity and Transcendence of Chaos. Which one Zenyatta starts with counts on whether Harmony or Discord is higher (Harmony for Tranquillity and Discord for chaos, starts on Tranquillity if tied). The cooldown is increased by 100% if used while enshrouded in the oppisite direction Tries to use Transcendence of chaos while enshrouded in Harmony and vice versa).

Transcendence of Tranquillity


Cooldown: 60 seconds
Zenyatta becomes a beacon of peace and tranquillity. When activated, you become invulnerable and 30% increased movement speed, Zenyatta heals 75 (+4% per level) to nearby allied heroes and every hero affected deal 25% less damage (Both enemy and ally). You cannot do anything else but move while active. This last 6 seconds. After ending, Zenyatta's heroic becomes Transcendence of Chaos.

Transcendence of Chaos


Cooldown: 60 seconds
Zenyatta becomes a beacon of chaos and anarchy. When activated, you become invulnerable and 30% increased movement speed, Zenyatta damages enemies in an area for 65 (+4% per level) and every hero affected deals 25% more damage (Both enemy and ally). You cannot do anything else but move while active. This last 6 seconds. After ending, Zenyatta's heroic becomes Transcendence of Tranquillity.

True Tranquillity
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Zenyatta can switch his attack so they instead target allies and heal them for 35 (+4% per level)

Passive: Both Zenyatta's orb of harmony empowerment and healing empowerment of Orb volley are always active. Complete balance can no longer be activated (Effectively it doesn't exist anymore), allies do not have to have Orb of Harmony to increase your Harmony.

Increase harmony by 2. If harmony isn't 3 more then discord (Allowing for enshrouded in harmony), it becomes 3 more then discord automatically.

True Chaos
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Zenyatta can cause his basic attack to attack two other enemies (prioritising heroes) for 5 seconds.

Passive: Both Zenyatta's orb of discord empowerment and extra damage empowerment of Orb volley are always active. Complete balance can no longer be activated (Effectively it doesn't exist anymore), allies do not have to have Orb of Discord to increase your Discord.

Increase Discord by 2. If Discord isn't 3 more then Harmony (Allowing for enshrouded in discord), it becomes 3 more then harmony automatically.

Special Mount

Zen levitation
Instead of a mount, Zenyatta hovers across the ground moving 10% faster.

Talents:

Tier 1


Balanced grace (quest):
Have Complete balance active for 60 seconds, time spent tilted doesn't contribute to this quest.
Reward: While Complete Balance is active, increase your movement speed by 10% and your armour by 10.

Natural healer (quest):
Pick up 20 health globes
Reward: While Orb of harmony is active, Health globes give 50% more healing.
Gain 1 Harmony.

Scars of shame (quest):
Get 5 enemy hero takedowns (Doesn't have to be the one who gets the last hit)
Reward: Every time an enemy with the orb of discord is hit by an orb from Orb volley, his healing is decreased by 5% (stacks) for 4 seconds.
Gain 1 Discord

Tier 4


Flurry of Destruction and creation
Zenyatta can have up to 8 orbs charged with orb volley

Saviour of the weak:
Zenyetta's healing is increased by 25% for someone who has less then 25% Maxinum health.
Gain 1 Harmony

Personal vendetta:
Zenyatta has 20% increased damage against an enemy who has killed an ally hero for 12 seconds.
Gain 1 discord

Tier 7


Changing the scales:
Activate you talent (D) to make the target of your orb of Harmony gain 15% movement speed for 4 seconds and the target of orb of despair decrease their movement speed by 15%, both orbs have to be active. Has a 25 second cooldown.

Burst of courage:
Activate you talent (D) to make the target of your orb of Harmony have unstoppable for 1 second. Has a 25 second cooldown.
Gain 1 Harmony

Weight of despair:
Activate you talent (D) to make the target of your orb of Discord be stunned for 1 secondd. Has a 25 second cooldown.
gain 1 Discord

Duel nature:
Gain 15% of the target with Orb of harmony damage as health. Gain 15% of the damage the target of orb of discord has taken has health. If the one dealing the damage and the one taking the damage are the two targets of Orbs of Harmony and Discords. this increases to 40% total (Including the two).

Stride for hope
For every 500 Healing Zenyatta has done, he gains 15% of his maximum health.

Desire of greed
Zenyatta gains 25% of his orbs damage as healing.
Gain 1 Discord

Tier 16


Equal Reaction:
Activate (1) and 2 second after, any damage or healing the target of the Orb of Harmony takes, also deals damage or heals the target of the Orb of Discord and Vice versa for 2 seconds. Both orbs must be active. 60 second cooldown.

Salvation (Global):
Activate (1) on an ally hero (Global range), if they would have taken damage that would usually have killed them within 2 seconds, they become invulnerable for 1 second and Zenyatta is immediately teleported to the hero's location. 100 second cooldown
Gain 1 Harmony

Damnation (Global):
Activate (1) on an enemy hero (Global range), they take 150 (+4% per level) if they die within 2 seconds, Zenyatta is immediately teleported to the hero's position. 100 second cooldown
Gain 1 Discord

Tier 20 (Storm tier)


Dual Transcendence:
Zenyatta's Transcendance heroics duration are increased by 100%, Zenyatta can swap between the two heroics by activating his heroic again. The duration left is still the same.

Fanatic of Harmony:
Zenyatta can have two orbs of harmony out at once (both are the same and are affected the same way) and does 50% extra healing with his basic attacks on targets with the orb of harmony, but decrease all of Zenyatta's damage and armour decrease by 50%.
Gain 1 Harmony

Fanatic of discord
Zenyatta can have two orbs of discord out at once (both are the same and are affected the same way) and increase the amount of enemies hit to four, but decrease all of Zenyatta's healing by 50%.
