Omnic Monk

This is a hero concept for Zenyatta from Overwatch.

Zenyatta is a healer specializing in supporting aggressive playstyles.

Orb of Harmony can only heal one ally at a time, but it allows him to heal them from a safe range. Additionally, he can rapidly switch between allies to offset his lack of multi-target healing.

Orb of Discord deals additional damage to a target every time they take damage from a heroic source, up to once per second.

Zenyatta's trait, Balance, grants a passive bonus whenever one of his Orbs is inactive, either healing or increased damage depending on which Orb is inactive. While neither are active, the effects of both Orbs are doubled.

Orb Volley is Zenyatta's ranged burst damage, and allows him to charge up attacks before releasing them all rapidly.

Zenyatta's first heroic ability is Transcendence, which heals all allies around him for a significant amount every second.

Zenyatta's second heroic ability is Enlightenment, which grants all allies around him Unstoppable.

Both of Zenyatta's heroic abilities grant him increased movement speed, but neither grant him the effect granted to nearby allies.

Attach an Orb of Harmony to an allied hero. Orb of Harmony heals its target for 90 health per second.

Only 1 Orb of Harmony can be active at once.
If its target dies or leaves tether range for more than 2 seconds, Orb of Discord returns to Zenyatta.

Charge Rate: 2/sec.
Maximum Orbs: 5
Activate to charge a volley of up to 5 Orbs at a rate of 1 every 0.5 seconds, then fire them in a straight line over 1 second. Each Orb deals 60 damage to the first enemy it hits.

Orb Volley can be charged indefinitely. Casting another ability cancels Orb Volley.
Zenyatta can move while charging Orb Volley, but is unable to make basic attacks.

Attach an Orb of Discord to an enemy hero. Up to once per second, the Orb of Discord will deal 60 damage to its target whenever they take damage from an allied hero.
Orb of Discord's damage ignores armor.

Only 1 Orb of Discord can be active at once.
If its target dies, or leaves tether or vision range for more than 2 seconds, Orb of Discord returns to Zenyatta.

Activate on an allied hero. After 1 second, heal them for 200% of the damage they took over that second.

Heroic Abilities

Healing: 180/sec.
Radius: 6
Movement Speed: +30%
Duration: 4 sec.
Channel Period: 1 sec.
After channeling for 1 second, Zenyatta gains 30% increased movement speed for 4 seconds. During this time, Zenyatta projects an aura that heals allied heroes within 5 range for 300 health per second.

While Transcendence is active, Zenyatta cannot make basic attacks or cast abilities.
Transcendence does not heal Zenyatta.

Cooldown: 80 sec.
Radius: 6
Movement Speed: +30%
Duration: 4 sec.
Channel Period: 1 sec.
After channeling for 1 second, Zenyatta gains 30% additional movement speed for 4 seconds. During this time, Zenyatta projects an aura that grants allied heroes within 6 range Unstoppable.

While Enlightenment is active, Zenyatta cannot make basic attacks or cast abilities.
Enlightenment does not grant Zenyatta Unstoppable.

Level 1


[Q] Rhythmic Harmony
Every 3 seconds, Orb of Harmony heals its target for 100% more.

[Q] Harmonic Transfusion
Orb of Harmony heals its target for 100% of the damage Orb of Discord deals.

[W] Repetition
Hitting an enemy hero with Orb Volley lowers its cooldown by 0.5 seconds.
? Quest: Hit enemy heroes with Orb Volley 30 times.
? Reward: Hitting an enemy hero with Orb Volley reduces its cooldown by 1 second.
? Quest: Hit enemy heroes with Orb Volley 50 times.
? Reward: Orb Volley's range is increased by 50%


Level 4


[Q] Walk in Harmony
Orb of Harmony grants 15% increased movement speed.

[Q] Protective Teacher
Every 6 seconds, Orb of Harmony grants 50 armor against the next basic attack made by an enemy hero.

[E] Shadows of Doubt
Orb of Discord reduces its target's damage by 5% for 4 seconds whenever it deals damage, stacking up to 25%.


Level 7


[Basic Attack/E] Now to Strike
Zenyatta's basic attacks always trigger Orb of Discord.

[Q] Peace of Mind
Orb of Harmony grants its target 25 armor while they are stunned, rooted, or silenced.

[Q/W] Sustaining Volley
Hitting an enemy hero with Orb Volley heals the target of Orb of Harmony for 45 of the damage dealt.

[Active] Orb of Restitution
Activate on an allied hero to heal them after 1 second for 200% of the damage they took during that time.


Level 13


[Trait] Self-Discipline
While Zenyatta has both Orbs, he gains 25 armor.

[Q] Dual Harmonies
Up to 2 Orbs of Harmony can be active at once.

[Q/E] Omnipresence
Increases the cast range of Orb of Harmony and Orb of Discord by 50%.
Orb of Harmony and Orb of Discord now have global tether range.

[W] Orb Salvo
Orb Volley now charges 3 Orbs of Destruction per second.
Orb Volley can now charge up to 6 Orbs of Destruction.


Level 16


[Trait] Inner Peace
While Zenyatta holds both Orbs, he is immune to armor, damage, spell power, and vision reduction effects.
While Zenyatta holds both Orbs, he takes no damage from DoT or percentage-health based damage effects.

[Q/E] Harmonic Discord
Orb of Harmony now heals additional health equal to 2% of the target's maximum health.
Orb of Discord now deals additional damage equal to 2% of the target's maximum health.

[W] Orbs of Karma
Orb Volley deals additional damage to heroes equal to 2% of their maximum health.

[E] A Lesson in Humility
Orb of Discord reduces its target's armor by 5 for 4 seconds whenever it deals damage, stacking up to 25.


Level 20


[Q/E] Pass into the Iris
Orb of Harmony heals allied heroes within 3.5 range of the target.
Orb of Discord deals damage to enemy heroes within 3.5 range of the target.

[W] Phasing Orbs
Orb Volley pierces through all targets.

[R1/R2] Embrace Tranquility
Zenyatta's Heroic ability instantly heals Zenyatta to full health and grants him 50% movement speed and Invulnerability for its duration.

[R1/R2] Path to Nirvana
Reduces the cooldown of Zenyatta's Heroic ability to 60 seconds.
Zenyatta's Heroic ability is replaced by Nirvana, which grants the effects of both Transcendence and Enlightenment simultaneously.
