Zilliax

Zilliax is a supportive melee tank who can attach himself to another hero to augment their frontline capabilities.

Pros:
    Decent area of effect damage and control
    Good sustain
    Can augment allies, healing and protecting them
Cons:
    Somewhat low base stats
    Higher mana costs
    While augmenting an ally, his team loses a body in the fight

Magnetize
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Cost: N/A

Zilliax can Magnetize himself to an allied hero, changing his ability's effects, removing himself from the battlefield, and granting them a Shield equal to 20% of his current Health. Magnetize lasts until Zilliax recasts it to remove himself or the targeted hero dies, at which point Zilliax is returned to the battlefield adjacent to the hero.

Magnetize's cooldown does not begin until it's effects end. It works similar to Abathur's Symbiote while active.

Primary Abilities

Power Coil
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Cost: 40 Mana

Zilliax begins to channel energy from his crystals in a cone for 1.5 seconds, dealing 66 (+4% per level) damage to enemies within every 0.5 seconds and healing Zilliax for 50% of the damage dealt to heroes. Zilliax can move and cast other basic abilities while channeling, but cannot change the direction of Power Coil (works like D.Va's Defense Matrix).

While Magnetized to an allied hero, Power Coil is targeted from their location and heals them instead of Zilliax.

Static Link
Cooldown: 13 seconds
Cost: 50 Mana

Zilliax charges a target point with static, magnetically binding him to it for up to 5 seconds. During this time, Zilliax receives 30% increased movement speed when moving toward the point, but is Slowed by 10% when moving away from it.

Upon reaching the point, Zilliax releases a pulse of static energy, Stunning enemies in a medium area around him (area of effect equal to Muradin's Thunder Clap) for 1 second and dealing 110 (+4% per level) damage to them. This destroys the point in the process.

While Magnetized to an allied hero, Static Link changes their movement speed in relation to the point and pulses when they reach it instead.

Static Link can be self-cast to deal the damage and Stun right away, but sacrifice the potential mobility it has.

Conductive Shield
Cooldown: 16 seconds
Cost: 75 Mana

Zilliax deploys an energy matrix around himself, becoming Protected and Unstoppable for 1.5 seconds. Additionally, every instance of damage that Conductive Shield blocks reduces the remaining cooldown of Power Coil and Static Link by 0.5 seconds.

While Magnetized to an allied hero, Conductive Shield affects them instead.

Heroic Abilities

Missile Launcher
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Cost: 100 Mana

Zilliax magnetizes a Missile Launcher to himself for 18 seconds. During this time, dealing damage from any other ability launches missiles at all visible enemies in a large area around him (area equal to Medivh's Portal maximum cast range), dealing 54 (+4% per level) damage on impact.

While Magnetized to an allied hero, Missile Launcher also triggers when their abilities deal damage, but its duration ticks down 100% faster.

Missile Launcher's cooldown does not begin until it's effects end.

Omega Assembly
Cooldown: 75 seconds
Cost: 90 Mana

Zilliax rapidly disassembles himself, then rebuilds himself at a target location over 2 seconds. A total of 6 pieces of Zilliax fly in over this time, dealing 88 (+4% per level) damage to enemies they pass through and Stunning them for 0.5 seconds. Upon completing his reassembly, Zilliax releases a pulse of energy, knocking enemies back and Stunning them for up to 1 second (both are increased by how close enemies were to the center, with the maximum area being equal to Azmodan's Globe of Annihilation).

While Magnetized to an allied hero, Omega Assembly removes Zilliax from the hero he is attached to.

Zilliax's pieces fly in at fixed angles in order. The first comes from the direction from Zilliax to the point, then each one afterward comes in from 60 degrees clockwise.

Talents

Tier 1


Regeneration Magnetization - Zilliax's range for picking up Regeneration Globes is increased by 200%. While he is Magnetized to a hero, they receive this effect instead.
Enhanced Siphon - Power Coil also heals for 10% of damage dealt to non-heroic targets.
Force-Energy Conversion - Conductive Shield also returns 10 Mana to Zilliax for each instance of damage it blocks. While he is Magnetized to a hero, they also receive 50% of this effect if they have Mana.

Tier 2


Wind-Up Coil - Zilliax's basic attacks reduce the remaining cooldown of Power Coil by 1 second. While he is Magnetized to a hero, their basic attacks reduce its cooldown by 0.5 seconds instead.
Feedback Loop - Static Link's pulse damage is increased by 20 (+4% per level) and Stun duration is increased by 0.1 seconds for each enemy hero it hits.
Electrostatic Connection - A significant amount of electricity now arcs between Zilliax and Static Link's point, dealing 15 (+4% per level) damage to enemies between them every 0.25 seconds. When Zilliax walks into an enemy being damaged by this effect, they are pushed to the side.

Tier 3


Emergency Attachment - Zilliax must wait for 2.5 seconds after Magnetizing himself to a hero to cast abilities. During this time, they gain an extra 20% of his current Health in Shields and 15% increased movement speed, which are both lost when Zilliax can cast abilities again.
Group Link - Static Link also grants unaffected allied heroes within a large area (equal to Brightwing's Soothing Mist area) 10% increased movement speed while they move toward its point.
Half-Measure - Conductive Shield now grants 50 Armor instead of Protected, but its cooldown is reduced to 10 seconds and its cost is reduced to 40 Mana.

Tier 5


Surging Coil - Power Coil is now channeled for 0.5 seconds, then immediately deals 165 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in its area of effect. All other effects remain the same.
Electric Mines - Points created by Static Link now have an indefinite duration. After 5 seconds, they lose magnetic links, no longer affecting other heroes' movement speeds; however, they still pulse when Zilliax makes contact with them. A maximum of 3 Static Link points can be on the battlefield at any time.
Blast Shield - When Conductive Shield wears off, it grants Zilliax or the hero he is Magnetized to a Shield that absorbs damage equal to 50% of incoming damage during its duration for 4 seconds.

Tier 6


Remote Drone - When he Magnetizes to a hero, Zilliax leaves a remote controlled drone at his previous location with 50% of his maximum Health with a basic attack equal to his. The drone's movement and attacks can be controlled using the mouse while Zilliax's abilities are bound to the Magnetized hero. The drone offers no experience when destroyed, and is automatically detonated when Magnetize ends.
Netherstorm Power Core - Power Coil no longer costs Mana, and its cooldown is reduced to 7 seconds.
Magnetic Pull - Increase the area of Static Link's pulse by 50%, and it also pulls affected heroes a short distance toward Zilliax or the hero he is Magnetized to.

Tier 7


Siphoning Explosives - Missile Launcher also heals Zilliax for 25% of the damage it deals. While he is Magnetized to a hero, it heals them instead.
Omega Effect - Omega Assembly now has 3 charges that refresh all at once. Its base cooldown is increased to 90 seconds, and there is a 10 second cooldown between using charges.
Power Crystal Overload - Power Coil now damages all enemies in a circle around Zilliax, or the hero he is Magnetized to (same length as the original cone).
Machine Takeover - When the hero Zilliax is Magnetized to dies, he instead takes over their body until they respawn. After a 2 second windup, this sets their remaining Health percentage to Zilliax's remaining Health percentage and grants him access to an exact copy of their hero. If this copy dies, Zilliax dies too; when the affected hero respawns, Zilliax returns to his normal form. Zilliax can cast his trait during the windup to refuse this effect.
