Zoltun Kulle

The Fallen Horadrim

Zoltun Kulle was one of the founders of the Horadrim, but turned towards the side of darkness after the creation of the Black Soulstone. He was the most powerful mage in all of Sanctuary, and the Horadrim realized this. The forces of Sanctuary then banded together and severed Kulle's body into two jars of blood, his head, and his body.

Combat Trait

Ghost Form
Passive ability

When Zoltun Kulle get killed, he stays on the battlefield as a ghost. When Zoltun Kulle is a ghost he passively reveals cloaked ennemy heroes in a medium area around him. At ressurection teleport Zoltun Kulle at his base.

Primary Abilities

Fireball
Cooldown: 6 sec.
Mana cost: 50

Zoltun Kulle casts a giant fireball on a targeted enemy dealing 100 damage (+4%/lvl), the fireball explodes on the targeted enemy dealing 200 damage (+4%/lvl) in a short area around him.

Tornados
Cooldown: 4 sec.
Mana cost: 25

Zoltun Kulle launches 3 tornados in a cone shaped area before him dealing 50 damage/second (+4%/lvl) and slow all enemy touched by them by 25%. The tornados moves at 50% of heroes movement speed

Rockfall
Cooldown: 16 sec.
Mana cost: 75

After channeling the spell for 1.5 seconds, Zoltun Kulle drops a stone's rain in a medium area causing 400 damage (+4%/lvl).
If attacked while channeling the spell is canceled but the cooldown is not activated.

Heroic Abilities

Eternal Guardian Golem
Cooldown: 85 sec.
Mana cost: 100

Summon an Eternal Guardian Golem with 3000 hp (+4%/lvl) and 50 basic damage (+4%/lvl) for 15 seconds. 25% of the damage taken by Zoltun Kulle are deflected on the golem.

Temporal Sphere
Cooldown: 100 sec.
Mana cost: 150

Zoltun Kulle creates a temporal sphere which slows by 50% enemies movement and attack speeds in a medium area. Lasts 12 seconds.

Special Mount

Teleport
Cooldown: 45 sec. (10 sec. in ghost form)
Mana cost: 0

Instead of using a mount Zoltun Kulle use his powers to teleport himself to a selected point on the map, the cooldown is reduced while in ghost form.

Talents

Level 1

  • 3rd degree burn (!):

    Get bonus damage every time an hero is hit with the explosion not counting the target.
    (!) less than 3 heroes hit: 10 bonus damage to the initial hit, 20 for the explosion up to 200 for the initial hit and 400 for the explosion. Get one stack per hero hit.
    (!) 3 or more heroes hit: complete the reward above and "Fireball" cause 25 damage/sec. for 5 seconds to the targeted ennemy.
  • Power of winds (!):

    Slowing heroes with "Tornados" enhanced its effect.
    (!) After 60 seconds of slow: "Tornados" applies a vulnerability effect of 25% to heroes.
  • Stuning rock (!):

    Rockfall stuns heroes for 0.5 seconds.
    (!) After 5 seconds of stun: "Rockfall" deals 100 more damage
    (!) After 10 seconds of stun: "Rockfall" deals 100 more damage

Level 4

  • Horadric knowledge:

    For each launch spell, Zoltun Kulle get a 25% resistance against spells. Stacks up twice.
  • Spining Tornados:

    The tornados move forward with a spiral pattern, they move faster but the overall speed to the end of the area of effect stays the same.
  • Rock 'em:

    Reduce Rockfall cooldown by 4 seconds
  • Apply fire on burn area:

    When a hero get damage from Fireball he get 25% more damage from the next Fireball. Lasts 10 seconds. This effect can stack up to 3 times.

Level 7

  • Persistent winds:

    The area of effect of Tornados is 30% longer.
  • Ehanced teleport (!):

    Every times Zoltun Kulle teleports himself he gets a stack of "Teleport knowledge" at 15 stacks "Teleport" become "Enhanced teleport". For 3 seconds after the enhanced teleport Zoltun Kulle moves at 150% of his normal speed.
  • Delayed explosion:

    Fireball explodes a second time after 3 seconds dealing 150 damage (+4%/lvl) in a small area.

Level 10

  • Eternal Guardian Golem:

    Summon an Eternal Guardian Golem with 3000 hp (+4%/lvl) and 50 basic damage (+4%/lvl) for 15 seconds. 25% of the damage taken by Zoltun Kulle are deflected on the golem.

Level 13

  • Giant stone:

    If Koltun Kulle manage to cast Rockfall an additional giant stone falls 2 seconds after the spell dealing 200 damage (+4%/lvl) and stuns for 1 seconds.
  • Fire aura:

    After casting a fireball Zoltun Kulle get a fire armor dealing 10 damage/sec. (+4%.lvl) for 5 seconds
  • Morenados:

    Tornados launches 2 extra tornados at both sides of Zoltun Kulle.

Level 16

  • Shocking tornados:

    Every 0.5 second tornados produce electric waves dealing 15 damage (+4%/lvl)
  • Stop spamming fireballs !:

    Fireball can stack up to 2 charges
  • Vicious attack:

    When using teleport Zoltun Kulle throws a fireball if there a enemy hero nearby. The fireball does not benefit from the talents.

Level 20

  • Body guards:

    Summon a second golem, golems have now the ability to stun nearby enemy every 5 seconds.
  • Paradoxe:

    Allies are now affect by the temporal sphere but as a bonus instead of a malus.
  • Kanai's Cube:

    Every allied heroes in a medium area around the cube get 25% attack speed and 15% ability damage. Lasts 10 seconds, 60 seconds cooldown, cost 100 mana points.
  • Catch me if you can:

    The trait can now be activated anytime. When activated turn Zoltun Kulle in a ghost for 5 seconds and reset his Teleport ability. 60 seconds cooldown.

Temporal Sphere is like chromies slowultimate. Ghost form is literally Leorics trait but stronger. Not much innovative ideas.

So Zoltun's Trait is nearly identical to Leoric's?

ETERNAL GUARDIAN GOLEM is one of the worst ults. Long CD and low damage. It should be 2 Golens, each dealing 40 damage. Or a lower CD, like 60s

Nah, the thing is, that its Zoltun Kulles personal Tank. He has low damage, But while he live, Zoltun Kulle take 25% lesser damage. Resistences are strong.
