Zoltun Kulle

The Horadrim Betrayer

Zoltun Kulle is a mage who has powerful damaging abilities, can manipulate time and enemies' health. His trait allows allies to resurrect him early.

Combat Trait

1
Resurrection
When Zoltun Kulle dies, his head drops on the ground and can be picked up by allied or enemy Heroes by channeling for 2 seconds. If an ally Hero picks it up, Zoltun resurrects immediately at the head's location. If an enemy Hero picks it up, Zoltun respawns as usual after his death timer expires.

Primary Abilities

Horadric Bolt
Cooldown: 4 seconds
Throw a fireball that damages the first enemy hit and reduces his Spell Armor by 20 for 3 seconds.

Energy Twister
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Create a twister that moves in the target direction, damaging all enemies in its path. Lasts 3 seconds.

Slow Time
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Create a sphere that lasts for 4 seconds. All enemies and enemy projectiles inside the sphere are slowed by 20%.

Heroic Abilities

Soulstone Power
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Gain 25% ability power for 8 seconds. During this time, using abilities reduces the cooldown of all of your basic abilities by 1 second.

Blood of Zoltun
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Target an enemy Hero. After channeling for 1.5 seconds, switch the Health of Zoltun Kulle and the target (based on % of Health). Taking damage interrupts the channeling.

Talents

Level 1:
Horadric Mage:
Quest: Gathering Regen Globes increases your Mana regeneration by 1 per second. Collect 20 Globes to increase the bonus regen by additional 15 mana per second.
Fire Striker: Quest: Hitting enemy Heroes with Horadric Bolt increases its damage by 3. Hit 20 Heroes to increase the bonus damage by another 60.
Furious Shot: Increases the travel speed of Horadric Bolt by 20%.

Level 4:
Wibbly-Wobbly:
Enemies affected by Slow Time also have 20% slower attack speed.
Expert Caster: Increases the cast range of your basic abilities by 15%.
Enduring Wind: Increases the duration of Energy Twister to 4.5 seconds.

Level 7:
Zoltun's Gift:
Allies who pick up Zoltun's head gain 20% ability power for 10 seconds.
Zoltun's Curse: Enemies who pick up Zoltun's head are slowed by 15% and have -15 Armor for 5 seconds.
Horadric Explosion: Horadric Bolt explodes upon impact, dealing 50% damage to enemies in a small area.

Level 10:
Soulstone Power:
Gain 25% ability power for 8 seconds. During this time, using abilities reduces the cooldown of all of your basic abilities by 1 second.
Blood of Zoltun: Target an enemy Hero. After channeling for 1.5 seconds, switch the Health of Zoltun Kulle and the target (based on % of Health). Taking damage interrupts the channeling.

Level 13:
Blood Bolt:
Horadric Bolt deals extra damage equal to 3% of the targets max Health and heals Zoltun for the same amount.
Double Twister: Energy Twister now creates two Twisters that deal 75% damage and heal Zoltun for 30% of the damage dealt.
Tornado: Energy Twister moves 30% slower, but stuns all enemies hit for 0.5 seconds.

Level 16:
Timey-Wimey:
Slow Time now also increases movement speed of allies and their projectiles by 20% while inside the sphere.
Endless Dome: Increases the radius of Slow Time sphere by 25%.
Time Impact: Hitting enemies inside the sphere with your basic abilities deals 10% increased damage.

Level 20:
Soulstone Dominance:
Increases ability power bonus to 35% and the duration to 10 seconds.
Alchemy Master: Increases the cast range of Blood of Zoltun by 100% and reduces cooldown by 20 seconds.
Eternal Presence: Allied Heroes can now pick up Zoltun's head without channeling.
Study of Magic: Activate to gain a shield equal to 25% of your max Health and gain 20% movement speed for 3 seconds.
