Warlord of the Amani



Zul'jin (also spelled Zuljin) was the Warlord of the Amani forest trolls and chieftain of the Amani tribe since before the Second War. Zul'jin was a fierce enemy of the high elves, with whom he shared many years of conflict. Zul'jin and the Amani tribe were allied with the orcish Horde for the duration of the Second War, but Zul'jin himself was captured near its end by Halduron Brightwing, in whose custody he lost an eye and an arm, as well as his Loa-given regeneration. Upon gaining his freedom, he went into hiding to rebuild his army and plan an attack on the remnants of the high elves, now known as blood elves, only to find them allied with the reformed Horde. He was killed byAzerothian adventurers who raided Zul'Aman during the war in Outland.

Combat Trait

Troll Regeneration
Zul'Jin passively regenerates 1.5% of his maximum health every 5 seconds, on top of regular health regeneration. In addition, he receives 20% additional health from healing effects from all sources.

Primary Abilities

Grievous Throw
Zul'Jin throws a dagger at target enemy, dealing damage equal to 50% of his attack damage and leaving a poison that deals 167 (76+ 5% per level) damage over 6 seconds. Poison refreshes upon re-application. Stacks up to 3 times. 3 Second Cool Down.

Sudden Blow
Zul'Jin immediately strikes a target within melee range, dealing 563 (256 + 5% per level) damage to them. If the target is slowed by any means, they take 25% increased damaged from this ability. If the target is rooted or stunned, they take 50% increased damage instead. 10 Second Cool Down.

Ambush
Zul'Jin becomes invisible for 4 seconds, and gains 25% increased movement speed. If Zul'Jin breaks this invisibility by attacking a foe with an ability or an auto-attack, the target takes 297 (135 + 5% per level) additional damage. 16 Second Cool Down.

Secondary Abilities

Halazzi, the Lynx
Zul'Jin invokes the aspect of Halazzi for 30 seconds, gaining his favor. During this time, he gains 25% additional attack speed, and his auto-attacks leave a debuff known as Fury of the Lynx on foes. Fury of the Lynx increases damage taken from his auto-attacks by 15%, stacking infinitely. After 9 seconds, or if Zul'Jin attacks a different target, all stacks dissapear.

Nalorakk, the Bear
Zul'Jin invokes the aspect of Nalorakk for 30 seconds, gaining his favor. During this time, Zul'Jin gains 25% increased maximum health, and gains Overpower once every 9 seconds, increasing the damage of his next auto attack by 350%. If Zul'jin gains a kill or assist while under the effects of the Blessing of Nalorakk, he instantly gains Overpower.

Akil'zon, the Eagle
Zul'Jin invokes the aspect of Akil'Zon for 30 seconds, gaining his favor. During this time he gains 25% increased movement speed, and causes any enemies who strike Zul'jin with a spell or ability to take 187 (85 + 5% per level) damage. This effect can only happen to each enemy once every 3 seconds. Enemies who are damaged this way are slowed by 20% for 1 second.

Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk
Zul'Jin invokes the aspect of Jan'alai for 30 seconds, gaining his favor. During this time, Zul'jins auto attack damage is increased by 25%, and he gains a stack of Dragonhawk's Wrath every time he auto attacks, and two stacks every time he uses an ability. Whenever Zul'Jin gains 10 stacks, he immediately deals 308 (140 + 5% per level)damage in an area around him to all nearby enemies.

Heroic Abilities

Blessing of the Loa
Zul'Jin channels for 1.5 seconds, gaining new abilities to allow him to choose a Loa to invoke. Each Loa provides a different buff, which last for 30 seconds. Blessings of the Loa cannot be purged or removed. Damage taken while channeling to gain the buff disrupts the effect, and puts it on cool down for 15 seconds. 30 Second Cool Down.

Guerrilla Warfare
Zul'Jin places a trap on the ground beneath him, which after a 3 second arming time, will lie invisible and indestructible until an enemy walks over it. The first enemy to walk over it is stunned for .5 seconds, rooted for 1 second, and then slowed by 40% for 3 seconds. Over the course of these 4.5 seconds, they take a total of 429 (195 + 5% per level) damage from the trap. These traps last for 5 minutes, or until an enemy walks over them. Zul'Jin can have a maximum of 6 traps on the map at one time, and can store up to three charges of this ability at a time. Generates one charge every 20 seconds. 

Talents

[Tier 1]:
[Growing Regeneration]: The amount of health regenerated by Zul'jin every 5 seconds is increased by .02% of his maximum health  for every regeneration globe gathered.
[Crippling Poison]: If an enemy is effected by 3 stacks of Grievous Throw, they are slowed by 15%.
[Lord of the Forest]: When in brush, Zul'jins attack damage is increased by 25%.
[Deadly Poison]: Each successive poison stack from Grievous Throw deals 25% more damage.

[Tier 2]:
[Exploit Weakness]: When striking a stunned or rooted enemy with Sudden Blow, it's cool down is decreased by 2 seconds. 
[Extended Reach]: Increases the range of Grievous Throw by 25%.
[Smoke Bomb]: Foes in the area around Zul'Jin when he uses Ambush are silenced for .5 seconds.
[Envenom]: Activate to poison an enemy Hero, dealing 366.08 (+4% per level) damage over 10 seconds.

[Tier 3]:
[Sudden Regeneration]: Troll Regeneration becomes activatable, allowing him to regenerate 25% of his maximum health over 8 seconds. If Zul'Jin is struck by any abilities during this time, the effect immediately ends. 60 Second Cool Down.
[Reactive Regeneration]: Increases the effect of Troll Regeneration by 1% for every 1% of his max health Zul'Jin is missing. 
[Sprint]: Increased the movement speed bonus of Ambush by 100%, tapering off over it's duration to the normal value.
[Lasting Poisons]: The poison from Grievous Throw lasts 2 seconds longer.
[Element of Surprise]: All damage done after leaving Ambush is increased by 10% for 3 seconds.

[Tier 4]:
[Blessing of the Loa]

[Guerrilla Warfare]

[Tier 5]:
[Cheap Shot]: If Zul'Jin leaves Ambush via an auto attack, the target is stunned for 1 second. 
[Sacrifice]: Zul'jin sacrifices 20% of his maximum health to break all slow, stun, and root effects and become unstoppable for 3 seconds. 60 Second Cool Down.
[Enchanted Axes]: Increases the initial damage of Grievous Throw by 300%, but increases the cool down by 1.5 seconds. 
[Giant Killer]: Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes deal bonus damage equal to 1.5% of the Hero's maximum Health.
[Vulnerable Blow]: Sudden Blow causes the target to become vulnerable, increasing damage taken by 25% for 4 seconds.

[Tier 6]:
[Troll Berserker]: Zul'Jin gains 50% increased attack speed for 6 seconds, but takes 25% more damage during this time. 60 Second Cool Down.
[Vanish]: Whenever Zul'Jin gains a kill or assist, the Cool Down of Ambush is reduced by 8 seconds. 
[Executioner]: Basic Attacks deal 40% more damage against slowed, rooted, or stunned targets.
[Blood for Blood]: Activate to deal 10% of target enemy Hero's Max Health and heal for twice that amount.
[Overpowering Blow]: Increases the damage bonus on Sudden Blow of striking a slowed or stunned target by an additional 25%.

[Tier 7]:
[Master of the Amani]: Increases the maximum number of traps Guerrilla Warfare can deploy by 3, and causes them to trap all enemies in a small AoE when activated. 
[Touched by the Loa]: Doubles the duration of Blessings of the Loa. Cool Down remains the same. Max of two blessings can be active at once.
[Bolt of the Storm]: Activate to teleport to a nearby location.
[Nexus Blades]: Basic Attacks deal 20% more damage and slow enemy Movement Speed by 20% for 1 second.
