There’s a lot riding on the line for the teams competing in the upcoming Americas Championship, as teams compete for a $100,000 prize pool and a slot at BlizzCon, but what about you at home? Be sure to tune in to the event at Twitch.tv/blizzheroes, as the Heroes used in the final winning game of the Americas Championship will go on sale the following week. That’s right—on September 22, 2015, in addition to the normal weekly sale; we’ll have five additional Heroes available at a discounted price in the North America region!

That’s not all! On the following week, beginning September 29, the skins used on those particular Heroes will be discounted in celebration of the winning team. We wish all teams heading to the event the best of luck and look forward to the goodies you’ll earn from their impressive and calculated play.

Eight Heroes of the Storm teams to compete for $100,000 prize and a spot in the World Championships at BlizzCon 2015


WHAT:
Eight of the region’s most skilled Heroes of the Storm teams – from North America (5), Latin America (1), Southeast Asia (1) and Australia/New Zealand (1) – are set and will battle it out Sept. 19-20 for a piece of the $100,000 prize pool. The top two teams from the weekend will earn their chance at a $500,000 prize pool and ultimate glory at the World Championships at BlizzCon 2015 on Nov. 6-7.

We invite you to join Blizzard at the Las Vegas Convention Center to experience the excitement of Heroes of the Storm eSports live and in person. If you can’t make the event, all of the action will also be streamed live on Twitch all weekend.
