The build that looks good on paper, but nothing more.
This build might work at low level games , but absolutely useless at high level. Zeratul without Wormhole = straight forward commit suicide.
Not to mention , you gave up on the best ultimate in game, that can chance teamfights / steal objectives, bosses.
It doesn't even matter how bursty you will be , you will die in 1 second after you pop out.
+ With tier1 Marksman you have to lane as Zeratul, instead of roaming.

IF the enemy team has tyrande or Tassadar you gonna die even before you can get close ( since no wormhole , you have to walk into teamfights ).

The only way i would go with this build if the team has Tassadar UTher+Rehgar/BW , but still then i would pick VoidPRison instead of ShadowAssault.

I've mentioned many times in the guide what to take and where. It's very informative and everything you've mentioned is already in the guide.

I don't think there are any scenarios in which I would choose Shadow Assault over Void Prison...

It's crazy to think of giving up arguably the strongest ult in the entire game
