We’ve just released a new patch for Heroes of the Storm! Today’s update marks the end of our Winter Veil and Cho’gall Buddy Brawl events, and brings a new Hero, as well as several new cosmetic items to the Nexus. Check out the patch notes below.

General

Winter Veil

• Winter Veil has come to an end. Festive Treasure Goblins have transformed into lumps of coal, all Winter Veil items have been removed from the Shop, and Special Event Quests can no longer be completed.
  • Please note: It will still be possible to earn Winter Veil Special Event Quest progress and ride the Festive Treasure Goblin if today’s patch has not yet been released in your region. Winter Veil items, however, are no longer purchasable at this time.

Cho’gall Buddy Brawl

• Cho’gall is now available for purchase from the in-game Shop using real money or gold.
  
• The Cho’gall Buddy Brawl Special Event Quests will be disabled in each region as today’s patch is released around the world.
  • Please note: It will still be possible to earn Winter Veil Special Event Quest progress and ride the Festive Treasure Goblin if today’s patch has not yet been released in your region. Winter Veil items, however, are no longer purchasable at this time.

New Hero

Greymane, Lord of the Worgen, has been added to Heroes of the Storm and is now available for play! Read on for a brief overview of his Abilities.

Human Abilities

Curse of the Worgen (Combat Trait) Greymane can use certain Abilities to shapeshift between a Human and a Worgen. While Human, Greymane's Basic Attacks are ranged. While Worgen, Greymane's Basic Attacks become melee but deal 40% more damage and grant 10 Armor, taking 10% less damage.

Gilnean Cocktail (Q) : 55 Cooldown: 9 seconds Hurl a flask that deals 55 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy hit and explodes for 220 (+4% per level) damage to enemies in a cone behind them. Worgen: Razor Swipe Swipe forward, damaging enemies hit.

Inner Beast (W) : 70 Cooldown: 20 seconds Gain 50% Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Basic Attacks refresh this duration, and reduce the cooldown of Inner Beast by 0.5 seconds.

Darkflight (E) : 10 Cooldown: 5 seconds Shapeshift into a Worgen and leap at an enemy dealing 88 (+4% per level) damage. Worgen: Disengage Roll away and shapeshift into a Human.

Worgen Abilities

Razor Swipe (Q) : 25 Cooldown: 4 seconds Swipe in the targeted direction, dealing 126 (+4% per level) damage to enemies hit. Human: Gilnean Cocktail Damage the first enemy hit and deal heavy damage behind them.

Inner Beast (W) : 70 Cooldown: 20 seconds Gain 50% Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Basic Attacks refresh this duration, and reduce the cooldown of Inner Beast by 0.5 seconds.

Disengage (E) Cooldown: 5 seconds Roll away and shapeshift into a Human. Human: Darkflight Leap at an enemy and shapeshift into a Worgen.

Heroic Abilities

Go for the Throat (R) Heroic Ability : 90 Cooldown: 80 seconds Leap at an enemy Hero and shapeshift into a Worgen, slashing for 355 (+4% per level) damage. If this kills them, the Ability can be used a second time within 10 seconds for free.

Marked for the Kill (R) Heroic Ability : 75 Cooldown: 40 seconds Greymane shapeshifts into a Human and fires a bullet that hits the first enemy Hero in its path, dealing 198 (+4% per level) damage. For 5 seconds, their Armor is lowered by 25, taking 25% more damage. Each time Greymane damages the Marked Hero, the duration is refreshed.

Marked for the Kill Leap (R) Heroic Ability Cooldown: 0.5 seconds Shapeshift into a Worgen and leap to the target of Marked for the Kill, dealing 46 (+4% per level) damage on impact.
