Here are the Top 10 Heroes that I think should be added to Heroes of the Storm for a variety of different reasons. There are so many unique characters that Blizzard has created but these are the ones that I would to see in the game sooner, rather than later:
10. Maiev Shadowsong (Warcraft) - one of main Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne heroes. Night Elf Warden in characteristic plate armor. While people sometimes think that she is a "rogue-kin" - for me she always was something more like tanky warrioress. So, Warrior is also role I suggest for her in HoTS.
9. Auriel (Diablo) - some say that bringing into game another angel is too much. But why? We have ingame now few demons, about 10 humans and 5 elves (3 NE, 1 BE and 1 undead HE). So why not more angels? Auriel is one of Angiris Council and her aspect is hope. So it's a perfect occasion to bring into HoTS Diablo support focused on healing. Plus she could have skin of Spirit Healer or Val'kyr from Warcraft world. As I said, I see her as a Support.
8. Archimonde (Warcraft) - an iconic Warcraft 3 character, "last boss" of whole Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. His appearance is also very characteristical, plus he could have some siege spell (remember destroying of Dalaran? Of course in HoTS it wasn't be even 1/10 as powerful). I see him as Specialist.
7. Medivh (Warcraft) - changed from Tichondrius (I still would want to see Tichondrius ingame!) - Medivh is a mage-warlock known since Warcraft 1, and he's general one of major characters in whole Warcraft. A Guardian of Tirisfal and former host of Sargeras himself, Medivh was responsible for bringing orcs to Azeroth. I see for Medivh role of Assassin or Specialist.
6. Grom Hellscream (Warcraft) - probably the most famous orc alongside with Thrall. He could be very fast warrior empowered with his bloodlust. I suggest for him role of melee Assassin.
5. Malthael (Diablo) - last boss of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Very characteristical and also loved villain, the Angel of Death, before one of Angiris Council. I believe that he could be nice melee Assassin.
4. Baal (Diablo) - last boss of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. He could be very tricky, with huge damage, but little ammount of health - a ranged Assassin. One of his spells could be sending waves of force (like he did in LoD opening cinematic with that Barbarian guy) and one - doubling himself (his illusion would be able to give damage!).
3. Mephisto (Diablo) - boss of III act from Diablo 2. While he was a Lord of Hatred, it would probably strange if I would say that I see him as a melee Support - but yes, I see so. He could be perfect in debufing enemies and buffing friendly players with "hatred". Could be also build for damage with his lightning powers.
2. Druid (Diablo) - player character of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Because why have another Warcraft Druid (even if I love them) if we can have Diablo one? Druid would be melee Specialist, able to shapeshift, what would make him a hybrid between all roles. I also see for him nice skin idea: a Gilnean with top hat and monocle, and general victorian look.
1. Necromancer (Diablo) - player character of Diablo 2 and one of the most requested hero last times. With his ability of making bone armor, cursing enemies and summoning blood golem sharing damage with him (or even maybe whole team) he would be perfect shielding Support. He of course would need to also summon skeletons.
So, that's my top 10. No Starcraft this time - I really like this universe, but my top 10 most wanted are from Warcraft and Diablo, because I love those universes the most.
No Kel'Thuzad here only because he is already confirmed - but generally he would be in first 5 for me.
