The build I wanted to introduce mostly is in the list, called Majin Vegeta.
[Last updated: 08.11.2018, Going to add new heroes soon! + Abathur Guide Incoming!]
[Storyline, Infernal Shrines, start of 2016]
I tried to maximize my damage as strongly as I can, and this is what happened. This was my first game with this build, and it was unexpectably good.
I tried to play as much safe, as possible, even for my fervent nature.
I scounted bushes with my 20 mp missiles, making fun of how I can cross them, and suddenly saw the OPPORTINITY. To make my build as extremely damaging, as ot's possible.
I picked my first talent just after the first creep wave arrived. I always watch enemy talents first and then react. There is no big deal to not to have 1 talent in a first game minute, especially if playing super safe, almost under the towers. Like you have to play Li-Ming at the very first part of game, at least! :)
I picked the talent
Power Hungry.
Ofc, I thought (maybe, it's better to say "know"), that it would be a bit of a problem to kill mobs to get orbs in intention before teamfights out of lane, but still it's some damage buff, and I take all orbs I see, if it's safe, of course. So, this might be good thing to pick.
About "pick", I also saw, that our enemies are "One grapple" Sonya, "Of only I landed roots" Arthas, "I. Can't. MOVE!!" Sgt. Hammer, "annoying skeletones facetanking", but still not mobile Xul and same mobility Morales.
This was a OPPORTUNITY I saw. To take maximum damage talent build and outbox them, outpoke, outharras.
The results were crazy. Even with our Dehaka and Thrall 12 deaths, I died only 4 times, mostly because I got too cocky and I'm immature hot guy. So, if I played better, maybe, I won't die at all!
I defended the base at level 22, while the whole team was dead, I lost only one building against the WHOLE TEAM + arcane Punisher.
The reason is MY POKE just did -70% hp to Sonya, kinda near that to Xul. When I landed a Big Bang Attack, its' cooldown reduced and I could use it again after 3 seconds. Big Bang Attack alone hit Sonya 40% hp. We lost the game, even with that, I killed her 7 times. She just didn't understand, why I did SO MUCH damage that could fight with her without fear. Ofc, if she picked jump, the result would differ, and I would play less agressive, dealing less dmg, but, maybe, without some deaths.
Finally, I got caught, because, like I said before, I got cocky and was like Emperor vs 5 Jedies went to kill him. Watching on them, like on ****, I mean. Forgive me for my French.
But, still. My hero damage was their 2 top damages combined, my siege damage was pusher mode Sgt. Hammer +20% more.
Quite giantic damage, huh.
That's why, I think, this build deserves to be called LEGIT. I will improve it later, but, I think, it's already quite readable, so, no reason to hesitate!
Or, just call it Big Bang Attack build.
Of course, Li-Ming is not a super muscular male, but when you launch your Big Bang Attack and it halfHP's someone, it's really easy to imagine it was Big Bang Attack. %)
Builds info.
Majin Vegeta
Main build I wanted to introduce. It's been a while already since I played it, I already saw it in tournament and saw Grubby using it, in order to increase backline depth. So, this build might be even better, than I thought. I recieved one "omg obrs? really?" from a couple of ppl, and kinda felt bad for my build, before seeing is in wide use by rank1 + high MMR player.Ofc! My damage each time I used this build was outstanding? it's impossible only I can deal that 180k/30min, other better players can do much-much better!!! This is a big world! Tier 2 talent Triumvirate is literally CD reset for orb, which is AMAZING.
Like Grubby sais, "greedy damage". And, trust me, this damage is so greedy it can nulify all enemy team hp before they reach thier fight distance. There is a chance, which increases, if orb is thrown out of shadows. This damage greeds for enemy hp. ;)
Namek saga Vegeta
Not as greedy, as my main build. This build has better mobility, because of considerably less Teleport cooldown + its reset, when getting good hit in the face(body, legs). But, as a previous build, if you get some thick skillshots, you will still be dead. Falstads' Hinterland Blast, Novas' Triple Tap, Kael'th***' Pyroblast and Tracers' Pulse Bomb+procast+auto can reach you and almost OneShot even with good positioning of your team. Coz these heroes CAN.
That's why we need some other options.
Super Vegeta
Remember first fight with Cell and Vegeta? Prince of Sayans turning into something new, more muscular, more rapid, dodgeing all attacks with DBZ teleporting?
Oh, yes. :D
I should add this build here.
This build is blinks with damage. GOOD damage. Almost like 3 KiBlast AOE damage. Wave clear speed increases a LOT. Ofc, to not to die, you should still stay at your poke safe distance, throwing Big Bang Attacks, not just because you can, but because staying effective...
But, if you SEE the opportunity, you can go for a kill.
THIS BUILD... Can make even Illidan think, is it worth it going to backline to hit you, even though you have only some Gazlowe 1 turret behind, and 1v1.
Beautiful DOminance talent from Tier 2 will heal us wherever from healer we are positioned, if enemy died, and we can continued to deal damage or get away succesfully, because got 20% of our hp healed. For LiMing snowballing, this talent is extremely useful, if al enemy team low, you can LiMing them fully, beautiful, perfect 1v5 in a couple of seconds. Consider you also will have chance to run out of mana, not able to blink. How good it would be to have some HP healed!
Calamity, our main source of damage in busy, fast teamfights. Wait for level 7, but still use your standard poke as a main weapon. This basics will stay in any LiMing build, just Q+W. But, when the opportunity comes, you can deal a HUGE amount of damage.
TIP: To burst with Calamity effect Teleport, you need to throw orb from some distance, at least, half of maximum, throw Q while running and teleport on target, finally.
Our Ultimate talent, Wave Of FOrce, is a good initiate pulling skill, good pealing skill, zoning enemies from each others skill and, lastly, good damaging skill for super-dinamic skillshotting LiMing build as we use.
Our Tier 5(level 13) talent Illusionist, known from past two talent builds, ALSO makes +1 fast damage to our procast + additional mobility, when you got hit, if continuing damage is too risky. With this talent, we have FOUR SKILLS IN PROCAST. That is very BIG damage. That's why I told even some squishi caster killers might feel they would be too reckless jumping on you.
Tier 6 talent Diamond Skin will protect us in our damaging pattern, there is always a lot of fast, unexpected things in HotS, even if you know, how to play and see situation clearly, it still has some chance to move to unexpected event part. Some extra shield, in addition to our Dominance heal(20% hp too, btw)will be nice. Since it procs from Teleport, Illusionist effect will give you second +20% hp shield per gank, so, it's 40% of additional HP per gank already.
For killing 5 enemies, while recieving 1 Illusionist proc, you will gain +100% hp heal and +120% hp shield.
And also +20 (!!!) skillshots cd reset.
Target least HP enemy and use poke I mentioned, then just spend all skills at once at another least HP target, then repeat that again.
If done right, you will stand there almost out of mana, like as Vegeta was after reaching Super Saiyan, very rapturously and happy. :)
Saiyan Saga Vegeta
When Vegeta flew on the Earth for the first time, he was very greedy in damaging abilities, and liked throwing a massive amount of Ki Blasts, that's why I've named this build like this. Greedy Single Target Poke, Saiyan Saga Vegeta. Test its' power on someone, who was set up by some CC! Deleting damage inc. The higher the league is, the better this might be, as for me, coz better setting up a burst understanding.
Yes, Vegeta Builds can differ league-wise as well!
Have fun playing Li-Ming, guys! :)
