Pros and
Cons
+ Good countering against Stealth & Tank & High Damage heroes (the current meta).
+ Excels in team fights and securing objectives.
+ Interrupts dangerous enemies, and allows allies to punish them.
- Untalented Storm wont be as effective towards late game.
- Difficulty protecting multiple allies.
- This build shows too much value in offensive play style, being forced to stay behind and listen to ignorant allies' pings will render you useless. With this build, play like a leader.
TIPS
BUILD 1
- Use
Oracle when engaging in a fight to detect the surrounding and to raise your damage. Focus down the highest HP enemies and prevent highest Damage enemies from killing your allies.
- Identify the highest threat and use
Nullification when engaging, cast
Force Wall in the predicted escape path to secure the takedown with your team.
- Towards the late game, your enemies should have figured by now that you are a threat to them and will likely have a couple of assassins or tanks that try to lock you down in team fights. Cast
Force Wall to separate the group or prevent escapes and
Oracle, followed by a self-cast Shield and Storm on the closest enemy, and let your team clean up the rest. Retreat behind your allies and continue shielding them.
- If faced by an enemy team with
Zul'jin, wait for his
Taz'dingo! then cast the
Nullification on him and wait a few moments then storm him to death.
- If your allied Hero is fighting an enemy Hero (Assassin) in a 1v1 situation and is losing, approach the two by using Dimensional Shift then
Nullification the enemy then shield your ally. If necessary, use
Force Wall, then
Psionic Storm, then
Oracle & Attack to secure the kill.
- Play aggressively when with an ally by your side, soak lanes and play cautiously when alone.
- Try to complete 30 seconds of Templar's Will quest ASAP.
BUILD 2
- Just gives
Tassadar more sustain and damage, allowing him to engage in combat more aggressively.
-
Archon also can be used to push back enemies and force their retreat if you position safely.
- Activate
Oracle before or after casting
Archon, for maximum damage output.
Additional, more general builds
+ Support is a good healing build, if there are AA heroes in your team like
Tracer,
Tychus,
Valla, and so on, this build will show great synergy with them.
+ Storm to dish out more AOE damage. This build is good for lane pushing, clearing waves of minions, mercs, and monsters.
+ Savior. I use this build when your teammate gets chased or overextends a lot, and requires babysitting. Use this build to prevent enemies from easily chasing down your noob teammate.
