We are happy to announce the winners of our Hero Creation Contest! *drum roll*

There has been a high number of submissions and we couldn't be more excited! It has been a tough week of judging and we couldn't decide upon a single winner, instead we decided to double the prize pool and pick one additional winning concept! :)

Before moving on, we would like to say that we greatly enjoyed reading your creative concepts, they could be a true source of inspiration even for the developers of Heroes of the Storm themselves!

Grand Prize Winners ($50 Blizzard Merch)

Both of these hero concepts have been crafted with passion by their authors and have managed to impress us so much that we just couldn't pick only one winner. They're equally impressive and below you may find them in no particular order. Enjoy! :)

Our first winner is Slombeeper with their hero concept for The Old Gods! They have impressed us with their unique ideas and writing skills and we're confident any concept enthusiast will get a kick from checking out their hero. :)

Some notable facts about The Old Gods:

Ranged assassin originating from the Warcraft universe.
Different play styles based on the chosen Old God talent.
Painful both in life and death, as his combat trait allows him to damage and disrupt enemies while beyond the grave.
Interesting basic and heroic abilities that complement each other.
The author provides in-depth information on how the hero and its abilities work and multiple tips.

Our second winner is JLE1138 with their hero concept for Xavius, Lord of the Nightmare! With their outstanding presentation skills, they have made their creation feel like it's already part of Heroes of the Storm!

Some notable facts about Xavius:

Melee assassin originating from the Warcraft universe.
Utilizes Insanity as his unique resource to cast abilities against his enemies.
Great synergy between combat trait and abilities, boosting their effectiveness when used together.
Amazing hero presentation, illustrating multiple parts of the concept for easier visualization.
Multiple chapters focused on giving form to the hero, providing insight on what Xavius is strong and weak against.
