So lets talk about the talents!
We start off with the level 1 talents and work our way up
Level 1 talents:
Winter's Reach: Useless talent to be honest, i find no actual reason for this talent to be any better than the 2 other level 1 talents. Why would anyone need extra range on frostbolt over more damage or longer slow duration? Doesnt make sense to me
Lingering Chill: Longer Slow time, Longer time for you to land extra crit damage, just overall good
Fingers of Frost: More mana, more Damage when casting abilities against
Frostbite affected targets. Requires quest completion and seems a little worse than Lingering Chiil
Would not recommend
Level 4 talents:
Frost Shards: No need for this talent since your primary damage abilities is
Blizzard and
Cone of Cold
Arcane Intellect: More mana when both hitting targets with Basic attack or abilities
Allows you to stay longer on the battlefield
Frost Armor: I would only recommend this if you're having problems against Basic attack assassins such as Valeera, Zeratul, Valla or Zul'jin, otherwise this talent just takes away your ability to stay on the battlefield longer because of Arcance Intellect
Level 7 Talents:
Ice Floes: Bigger AoE, faster cooldown, just overall good for this build
Ice Lance: Useless compared to the other talents at this tier
Icefury Wand: I doubt anyone would focus on Basic attack with Jaina
Level 10 Talents:
Ring of Frost: AoE root, AoE
Frostbite, allows for insane damage output and aids the team in so many ways possible
Summon Water Elemental: Doesnt have root,
would not recommend
Level 13 Talents:
Storm Front: There is no need for more range on Blizzard since Jaina also needs
Cone of Cold and
Frostbolt in her burst
Ice Barrier: Good survivability
Icy Veins: If you have the upperhand and doesnt get destroyed, then pick this talent for more damage output, Works really great when you land a perfect
Ring of Frost
Level 16 Talents:
Snowstorm: 30% isnt enough for this talent to be good
Northern Exposure: Aids the team with more damage against the targets hit
Numbing Blast: Can be good, but you already have
Ring of Frost
Level 20 Talents:
Cold Snap: Nobody stands in the middle of
Ring of Frost long enough for this talent to be useful
Wintermute:
Summon Water Elemental isnt picked, so this shouldnt be either
Ice Blink: I dont see a reason for this talent to be any better than
Deep Chill
Deep Chill: 40% increased slow on top of the 25%, meaning you will get 65% slow when using abilities against the enemies. More Slow, better chance of hitting abilities, more damage
This is your poke tactic
W > E
If E is on cooldown or if you have a opportunity to hit Q
W > Q > E
Now for your engage tactics
W > Q > E
If level 10
R > W > Q > E
Do not engage for a full battle if the enemy has full HP, unless your team is there to back you up
The key is to burst poke the enemy, till you can 1 burst their remaining HP
