Some stuff that i think you should know Top

I won't waste my time on creating threats or how to play your game i am only presenting a build here which i know after playing thrall yourself 5-6 times like this you'll know that this is the one and only build for thrall.

Lets make a little Q&A here and if you have other questions you can send me a message and i will answer them when i can, ok lets go.

Q:Why is your build's name ''Boom !''
A:Because whenever i use i want to and if i can yell ''boom'' and i think that after using properly a couple of times you will too.

Q:Why are you not making a detailed build on which heroes that will be a threat or how to play the game properly?
A:Well i'm not making a detailed build because i think that builds like those are just a waste of time both for the builder and the user, stuff that i will write down if i make a detailed one won't matter after you've played 2-3 games yourself. And how to play the game is up to you, everyone has their own strategies and playing styles so i can't make this build assuming you're going to play just like me, BE ORIGINAL !

Q:How long have you been playing Moba ?
A:I can't really say it as years but i've been playing HoTS for 1-2 months now and before that i was playing Dota 2 which i played for 1900 in game hours and before that i was playing LoL since the end of season 1 so you can say that im pretty used to Mobas.

Q:What is your rank how do you play ? How are we going to know that you're good enough for us to follow your instructions?
A:I am currently rank 1 and trying to stay that way, i wouldn't say i am a proffessional moba player that can handle a tournament but speaking for myself; im good enough. You can't know that i'm good enough for you maybe you're good enough for me to learn stuff we can't know that i just want to present a good build that will help you play thrall properly thats all.

Pros and cons of Thrall

Pros:
Has the highest basic attack damage in the game
Has high self sustain
Has a devastating ulti that will turn the teamfights around
Is a good ganker
Can carry the game if played properly
Has a really good ult to engage teamfights

Cons:

Low mobility
No escape ability ( gives you a little movement speed boost but you can't actually say that is a escape mechanism like falstad's e or zeratul's blink)
Ranged assassins can be a real pain in the ***
His ulti can be your teams end if not used right
Has low mana for abilities like his to be cast freely

How to use his abilities Top

Always keep an eye on as it is the backbone of Thrall. It can be used to take out an enemy on 1v1 easily or kill an enemy who's chasing you with low health.

Ways to use
-Harrass your enemy in lane if he doesn't have a support with him.
-Using it on an enemy which is out of the bush when his team isn't will reveal other enemies in that area and give your team a good advantage on what to do next.
-Use it to dismount the enemies that are chasing you.
-Use it on a far away minion to get yourself a hp boost with your passive on a 1v1 away from the lane.

Ways to use
-Gank
-Run
-Chase
-Use it on minions to get a good healing instead of

Ways to use
-Push
-Deal good amount of damage whenever possible
-Run away with the movement speed it gives you

Ways to use
-Initiate a tf by landing it properly on all 5 of them, dealing hight amount of damage before starting of the -teamfight will give your team a good advantage.
-Use it to kill an enemy who's running away (this is only acceptable in early game, last man standing or if -you can kill the backbone of the enemy team like brightwing, valla or ETC)
-Use it to cancel-out your enemies channeling spells, especially if enemy team has an ETC wait for him to -start his ult then break it with your ult while damaging other team members as well.

Talent selections Top

Now despite i told you that i wasn't going to do this guide a detailed one, i still want to tell you why i didn't choose other things since you might not think that i made a good choice. Oh god this is going to take so long, here we go.


First Tier:

Its good to be alive but it is only going to work in laning phase and will be totally useless in teamfights which is where you are going to shine.

At first you can say that its a good choice since thrall's mana can be depleted easily but similiar to it only works in laning phase and will make you regret your decision when you could have +30 bonus damage instead in mid to late game.

I didn't think anyone would even consider taking this but today i saw a master Thrall get this in quick game(i think thats why he was playing a quick game) anyway if you take this it will only boost your hp once and will not work for anything else after that for a long time since it has a cooldown of 12 seconds, instead of this we are taking to keep us alive in teamfights.


Second Tier:

I was getting this when i first started playing thrall since i could get 5 stacks of and keep my health up in lane but then i thought why not kill the guy who's making you to just stay there and try to heal yourself.

I can't see any way possible for you to get this in second tier instead of other stuff which are clearly far more useful.

Ok now a lot of people get this in this tier since Thrall has a mana problem but i don't think it will be as useful as it gives you a chance to cast another spell freely but spells that you will use have a lot of cooldown and only if a spellcaster had this than ok i would prefer you to take it but thrall is a burst damager, he deals the damage then goes on his way that is what he is you can stay out of base for long ok but it takes away the chance of you getting that one guy getting away with little hp, it takes away the chance of scaring your opponent in a 1v1 with using mid-fight.


Third Tier:


The only thing that this will do is to get you enough time to hit 3 times with before the root ends instead of 2.

This might actually seem like a good option but in a long teamfight that will occur in late game it will only serve you as a really little damage boost as the enemy team's healer will be freaking out in that teamfight, instead of that we get which will reduce the cooldown of Thrall's backbone by 4 which is a really good number.
It can save you a lot of times in a game but in a teamfight it won't serve you as well as Thrall is not a guy for chickens, you just get in there and don't come back until you or the enemy team dies.

Fourth Tier:

This can't really be an option but if you want to know why just use it for once and then you will regret your decision and want to destroy your own core until the end of the game.


Fifth Tier:

You can actually use this and to make it work but i don't think it will be a better option since getting 6 stacks of is obviously better than 3

You will see that except the times you use you don't actually use your basic attack so much and its not worth to throw away a whole talent combo for just a little damage boost, we have for that, see its all coming together.

In a teamfight, do you prefer to block a little amount of spell and then die because you can't get enough stacks of or do you prefer to get the hp back from those spells with plus deal a good amount of damage while doing that.

Sixth Tier:
Woah you can deal 500-600 damage at once, but of course by the time you will be dealing 250-300 damage with you are going to hit 350+ with your basic attack so this goes to the garbage.

Actually this seems like a good option but when we can deal 700-800 with our last hit of who needs that right ?

I was getting this when i first started playing Thrall, i was like damn look at that i can kill guys that are 15% hp and take that to myself ? Woaaaah ! But then as i started to get good playing supports and since i get better supports my enemy does as well this became a pointless option for me and as i said what is better than dealing 800 basic attack damage am i right ?

Seventh Tier:

This can help your team in so many ways if you're away from them but you wouldn't be a player to stay away from your team as they're in trouble would you now ?

This is a good option , the only option in a tier that i always look back and think ''was that a good selection?'' but feels that and makes itself useful in every way possible like making me live, getting a kill, finishing the game with a teleporting to the other side of that core, getting to a good position to seperate or push all the enemy team to my own team or just that one hero that should be killed before the teamfight starts.
