Just wanted to say I used this in one of my first quick matches with Zeratul and, even though we didn't wing, I still felt like a wrecking ball! I was lucky enough to have the whole thing recorded too. Thanks for the guide friend!
This build is SO much fun, usually I find it a grind to get to level 10 but the sheer burst fun of this taking down a hero in second as they try and run... so evil... so zera!
well my win rate % is higher so... thanks but,no thanks :)
gathering power is overall higher dmg. and so far the build is quite viable to me .. guess it depends :) thanks for the comment tho
First of all i think that auto-attack Zeratul is not viable anymore. The problem with this build is, that with the current Meta, you will get stunned so hard that you will get killed before you can use blink to get out.
Also if you look at Hotslogs, out of the top 10 builds, only 1 has Shadow Assault as an ult (and it's not even the top build).
Then you pick Gathering Power at level 4 which only increases your ability power and is therefore useless in an auto-attack build. You should go for Focused Attack instead (top 6 builds at Hotslogs have that).
I'm not trying to be a **** here, but i'm a level 14 Zeratul with a >60% winrate and i'm just giving some friendly advice
Thank you man,am glad you see the potential in it.Most wont even bother try it because of no Void Prison ,which,as well as being the potentially best spell in the game is also probably the most overrated one, since on theory its great but in reality, rarely works out to be that that useful.
Wow, I've been using the other popular build here and it doesn't do near the damage this one does. I've been using this for 4 or 5 games now and the results are insane. Thanks for the great guide.
In case tanky mofos are picked, you can use Giant Killer due to the boost it gives you when the target has a higher health pool. Also the talents Vampiric Assault and Nerazim Fury give a higher chance of success if you attack a tank and he starts fighting back. Trowing everything on him will kill it if you play it right.
Anyway, nice guide :D
I generally wouldn't use vampiric assault. That's really designed for sustained periods of being out in the field with no support.
I use my hearth quite a lot after blinking out of combat. The fields on heroes are quite small, so you can be back in the field in seconds.
Nerazim Fury is brilliant if the enemy team are standing together a lot (grps 2+). it means you can nuke the straggler and then jump in and wreck another team member and blink out. Personally, it's my preference, as it gives you much more time to get demolishing.
Thank you for the commment dude :} yes you are totally right about Giant Killer. its a possible choice but still Zerathul is an assassin not meant to fight tanks but champs that are lighter+
