Reckless Strike The reduction in delay is not a big deal, you will get used to it with a proper amount of practice. I suggest selecting another talent in this tier that is more beneficial to you and your team. Avoid this talent.

Chaos Reigns Permanently, increasing the damage of your most damaging ability, is an opportunity you should not ignored. Anytime heroes are either stunned/slowed, cast your ability

Endless Energy This talent's situational requirement are harder to meet, compared to other talents here. Even if the quest is finished, the reduction in cooldown only saves you a low 2seconds. I suggest taking another talent.
Thunderstruck Its quite rare for the perfect situation to occur, where an enemy stands between you and your victim. This might only happen 3 to 4 times a game. If you decide to pick this, don't be shocked it dosen't pay off.
Counter-Strike: Grants Alarak some much needed survivability and a lot of breathing room for you to evaluate a situation. Typically, this is cast when you are attacked by a melee hero, so you are assured it will counter them.
Deadly Charge This talent is situational. It only becomes practical, if your team has a lot of stuns and slows to keep the enemy team in place, so you can cast this ultimate talent, without any enemies walking away to safety.
Hindered Motion The basic ability from Alaraks' toolkit:
Telekinesis, is fairly easy to hit a target successfully. Because the talent slows targets, it allows your team to either move offensively & engage or retreat from danger.
Dissonance Although the silence sounds appealing, its only really useful if the enemy target has any spells off cooldown to use & could be completely wasted. This talent optional is situational. I suggest taking another talent.
Psychokinesis To begin with, your basic ability from your toolkit:
Telekinesis doesn't do a lot of damage. Also when its about boosting the damage of your spells, there is more talents for improving
Discord Strike damage.
Pure Malice This is the most situational talent in this tier. It depends on your teammates to die and for you to survive. It demands an absurd amount of coordination from you & your team to pay off. I suggest another talent.
Quick Mind This is the most optimal talent in this tier. Reducing the cooldown of the spell:
Telekinesis by a lengthy 6 seconds, allows you to cast it more frequently, if you happen to fail the first time reaching your target.

Counter-Strike This cant be picked, because a different talent was picked at Level 10.
