Extremely hard to kill as kerrigan, avoid 1v1ing him and just kill the enemy backline unless your team has a lot of CC for illidan.

Li Li
Easy kill, doesn't do anything to you really.

The Lost Vikings
You farm vikings early game when they're split and kill the boast easily in teamfights.
3
Arthas
Same as anub, easy kill target but watch out for the cc

A lot of cc, however you destroy him if you get a combo off.
4
Gazlowe
Don't fight in turrets, watch out for gravbomb. Easy gank target
4
Johanna
A lot of CC and harder to kill before 4, envenom her when you first engage on her and her passive will be popped within 1-2 autos.
4
Nova
Free kill for you, watch out for precision strike.
4
Sylvanas
Don't go too deep vs silence, you might not be able to kill her on the first couple of attempts but learn the players pathing when they throw out the E and you can get a kill easily.
4
Tychus
Easy to hit a combo on, decently large hitbox and self cc's himself while channeling odin. However he punishes you hard if you miss your combo
5
Diablo
Diablos hitbox is super big, very easy to hit combos on. However don't play near gates vs him or you'll die
5
Kael'thas
Careful for chain bomb! When you try to gank KT he will instantly stun you, so try moving to the left or right after you jump on him then combo.
5
Rehgar
Very hard to combo target, fast and has cleanse. Try to focus him down in teamfights when he's watching his teammates.
5
Stitches
Easy kill target because of large hitbox, careful for hooks
5
Tyrande
Do not go in hard vs tyrande, her mark will obliterate you if you get focused. Abuse her early and try to single her out in teamfights.
6
Abathur
Mines ruin your ganking early if the abathur is good
6
Jaina
Very good at killing you in counter ganks or teamfights but can easily die to you aswell.
6
Nazeebo
Very hard to kill late game with iceblock and zombiewall + death ritual HP. Try to abuse him early

The Butcher
Outdamages you in a straight up fight, try to combo and backup letting your team kill him.
6
Thrall
Don't straight up duel him, just play around your combo same thing when against butcher.
6
Zagara
Easily comboed because of hitbox, however can destroy you in teamfights w/ maw and if you miss your combo.
6
Zeratul
Play safer vs zeratul, be the counter initiator and you'll destroy his day.

Muradin
Very hard to combo by yourself and a great counter, don't go deep vs muradin.
9
Sonya
A tricky target to catch, can spin through you which makes her hard to combo and outdamage you most of the game. Try to kite back and combo her when shes chasing.
9
Uther
Abuse him pre 7 and you'll have a decent chance of winning, however post 10 you have an extremely hard time killing 1 person.
10
Tassadar
Very hard to kill, counters you with vision and shrinkray.
Hi, I'm Equinox and I'm the flex player and shotcaller for Murloc Geniuses in heroes of the storm. I've been playing heroes of the storm since june of 2014 when I got alpha access and have played well over 6000 games including tournaments and scrims.
Kerrigan is a hero I've played quite a bit of and something our team is known to play quite often. I have well over 800 kerrigan games played since late alpha and I'll try to share my knowledge about most things I know with kerrigan.
High pick potential
Strong burst damage
Strong early/mid game power
High CC potential
Can turn games around with one good combo
Weaknesses
Requires a decent amount of skill to play properly
Not very strong when behind
No escape pre 7
Not a lot of damage pre 16 outside of your combo
Weak against tanky and heavy CC teams
The combo in itself isn't that hard, but to do it consistently is. The base combo is just then however you need to place your in a way where your pulls the enemy into it.
Below I'll put a video of the different kerrigan combos you can do
You have 1 major power spike early game and 1 mid game I'll go over what they are and why they're so important.
The early game power spike is at level 7 with , the reasons why are:
1. it allows you to reset combos quicker and makes you a bigger threat in fights due to having it up more often.
2. you can actually do merc camps without taking much damage
3. it brings up your long CD ult faster, which means you can teamfight more often and that's a big factor w/ kerrigan.
Your big mid game power spike is at lvl 16 with , the reasons why are:
1. It allows you to not rely on your combo to kill backliners, you can pretty much 100-0 most carries with autos, essence for essence, envenom, and maelstrom ticking.
2. You can survive in teamfights much longer due to how big the shield gets when you use it on a tank and allows you to make them waste a lot of extra resources on you if you have good target selection with the ability.
3. Most importantly it makes front liners more afraid to be aggressive since now you can kill them very quickly, this helps your team dramatically in teamfights since they won't have a tank in their face 24/7.
You NEED to roam on kerrigan and get your team an early objective advantage by getting kills. Stay focused on ganks but always group with your team for an objective like tributes or temples. A big thing to remember when ganking on kerrigan is people will almost always try to juke your combo, be patient and auto them until you can predict their next movement (which comes naturally after just playing kerrigan for awhile).
When you're fighting over objectives always look to either flank or just kill whoever you can reach, kerrigan is strongest on the flank if you have another person with you so you don't just get turned on. If you're playing by yourself and don't have a gank buddy just hit whoever is infront.
Heroes that want to roam with kerrigan (I will list the best to least best)
Tyrande
Jaina
Arthas
E.T.C
Kael'thas
Muradin
Leoric
Anub'arak
Nazeebo
This is mostly just a "what comp do we have" kind of question.
I'll write down the type of teamcomps you play should pick kerrigan in, and explain how you want to play out teamfights with those.
heavy burst comps: kerrigan is amazing with heroes like jaina and tyrande who offer a lot of burst/damage amplification, when you have this type of comp you just want to kill whoever is infront. Anytime you have a lot of burst you can abuse frontliners because of how careless they usually are with positioning.
dive comps: a comp where you usually have an uther and hard engage tank like johanna, muradin, or tyrael. Focus on getting a flank and letting your tank initiate first, get on the same carry your tank gets on. Always watch the CC of your tank and follow up with your combo appropriately.
pick comps: in this comp it's very hit and run style, you have stuff like tyrael and johanna who want to look for kills. You also have heroes that are very cooldown based, tyrande, kerrigan (obviously), amd uther/rehgar/malf. You want to play teamfights according to your comps cooldowns, blowup someone and reset the fight, I recommend taking adaptation at level 7 in this comp so you can always get out once you get a pick.
How good is kerrigan right now, and when do I pick her in ranked/competitive Top
Kerrigan is the 2nd best melee assassin right now and is very reliant on how skilled at her you are. She isn't a very good hero unless you're decent/good at her however once you are good at her she's very rewarding and can solo carry your team off of picks and early game advantages.
You want to pick her when you have a comp she fits in (which I listed above) and when you have a lot of practice on her, feel free to spam her in quick match until you get to a point where you're consistently hitting your combos. A big recommendation I have for improve your combos is do it in trymode for about 10-15 minutes on the bot, practicing a few of the combos in the video I posted. This will warm you up and also help a lot in improving your consistency.
Thanks for reading the guide, if there's anything you want me to add/improve just let me know and I'll get it fixed ASAP aswell as any other guides you'd like me to write.
A few additional notes on kerrigan.
1. Don't get discouraged when you miss a lot of combos/have a bad game, happens to everyone including myself.
2. Use unlocked camera when doing bolt combos, it's a lot smoother atleast for me.
3. Let your team know your intentions on how you're going to play, if they don't know you're gonna gank/go in deep/kill their frontliners then you're not gonna get the right help, so always communicate with your team!
4. MATCH YOUR MOUNT AND SKIN, IT IS IMPORTANT TO PLAYING WELL!
