Hey there!
The name is
Cam. I'm a WoW player of 8 years, professionally if you count PvP rating services, although the current state of the game has lead to my recent withdrawal of subscription. However, this lead me to Heroes! I dove quickly into the game, and thought I'd begin publishing guides on the ways I've established success in my gameplay. I take great joy in helping others better themselves, build confidence in their playing, and develop their own strategies to maximize their gameplay! I encourage people to toy with Heroes and find what build works for them - this is purely what works for me. Feedback, of course, is encouraged!
I'm currently rank 9, with a 2700 MMR.
These builds are for
Johanna, the righteous frontline. They were crafted and theorized by myself and my teammate, revolving around the idea of an evolving two-tank meta, as well as her potential as a solo tank. It's not a cut-and-dry way to build her, but it is an interesting route to take in a match!
Actions speak louder than words; below is a screenshot of a 2700 MMR ranked match featuring myself making use of the Heavy Burden build in a 2-tank meta.
PROS & CONS Top
PROS
- Incredibly high damage.
- Intense AoE control.
- Intense sustain and self healing.
- Great utility in laning, team fighting, and dueling.
- Active trait grants immunity to CC effects as well as shield for 5 seconds.
- Is a total battle babe.
CONS
- No "surprise" or sudden engage outside of her ults. Most of her engage involves just trotting into the middle of a fight.
- No escape. When you're in, you're in.
CONCLUSION Top
Once again, this is merely a suggestion and recommendation on how to play Johanna. Perhaps you'll find it useful, perhaps you won't! Either way, I appreciate you taking the time to read through this guide, and hope it helps your gameplay with the newest battle babe,
Johanna!
