I am a noob player - my Malfurion is only level 8 but Im writing this post patch so that I can use it as a basis as I learn the game - comments on what can be improved are more than welcome. On the few test runs Ive done I have done pretty well but its not a finished article. I have played Malf mainly as a primary healer but fancied doing something different - always helps me to tell my team mates what I am doing during the start of game egg timer.
Level 1
Moonburn helps clear minions in the early game and give you the xp advantage
Level 4
Vengeful Roots
The treant helps in pushing lanes as it attracts the grunts
Level 7
Strangling Vines - Extra CC as you move into mid game for team fights - this also stacks well with later moonfire talents which reduce cool down timer
Level 10
Twilight Dream - I havent picked anything other than tranq prior to this patch. This skill really helps is disorientating the enemy in multiple hero fights and gives that real WTF?! statement.
Level 13
Full Moonfire - Mana is a problm and if youre reliant on moonfire then this helps to manage that more efficiently while also grabbing more unwilling victims
Level 16
Lunar Shower - This is your key late game skill - the reduced timer and stacking ability mean that when you are attacking or defending cores you are able to hit lots in a short space of time. With the increaed root you can get off lots of Moonfires without the enemy being able to escape.
Level 20
Nightmare - no testing available on this talent as yet - more to follow.
