- Shifting to mount decreases the stack you had with your Covert Ops by 20% if it's at max
- Heavily relying on your W
- you need to wait for W to be at least 50% charge(20 secs) in order to be fully effective.

What you need to pull off this build:
- Cloak management
- basic knowledge about Covert Ops's behavior

This build is hard to pull off since the slow on Covert Ops takes too long to reach it's maximum of +50% slow. It takes like 50 seconds(almost a minute) for it to reach 80% slow(30% from pinning shot + 50% maxing out after 50 seconds) and leaves you to choosing whether not to wait for it or wait for it for at least 20 seconds, which means lots of lost opportunities to kill a target and maybe the enemy is in the safety of his allies by the time the slow maxes to 50% but it's worth it. Mounting is also a difficult choice to choose if you already have maxed out your W's slow, since mounting decreases the stack by an approximate 20%. Entering the haunted mines also screws up your W stack. Remember it only decreases your stack 1 time so even if your uncloaked for more than a second it does not decrease your stacks more, Using W on an enemy will reduce your stack by certain percentage depending on how much stack you have and does not reduce it anymore unless you cast W again.
With this build you replace damage bonus for a longer and more potent slow. The slow also synergizes with heroes that rely on stuns or slows to land their abilities like Entangling Roots Psionic Storm . Precision Strike is best with this build since it will benefit with Pinning Shot's slow and makes it more than ever to land since they simply can't run away from it before it hits them.
Since this build focuses on your W Pinning Shot. The increased duration from Tazer Rounds, plus the 25% damage amplification from Crippling Shot is more than enough to burst down enemy assassins and squishy supports in less than 2 seconds. plus the 50% slow from Covert Ops makes it almost impossible to escape channeling aoe abilities, unless he/she blinks away but then your still gonna catch up because of the incredible 4 seconds 80% slow. Perma-slow build is also awesome for players who are not fully experienced with the build since the 80% slow will make any player disoriented since he's hero is not doing what he's expecting to happen, e.g. he can't chase a hero.

The way Covert Ops behaves is pretty weird cause sometimes it does not decrease your W stack by 20% sometimes it does, sometimes by 5% when at 50% stack. That's how i observed it anyway it's up to you if your curious enough to experiment more with it, i still don't fully understand it(i'm sorry). Remember Mobility is everything to any hero and a sudden reduce to their mobility will either make them disoriented, confused and maybe panic, it also makes any enemy not being able to run to their allies before they get healed.

- Combo must be done in at least 3 seconds to pull off successfully because of Overdrive and Ambush Snipe
- you may forget to activate ._.

This build focuses on utilizing Overdrive instead of Crippling Shot. I know That Crippling Shot is better in many ways, but this is just another way to play Nova using Overdrive
This build realizes it's full potential Once you get . The reason why it's only 2 seconds is because of 1 second bonus duration when out of stealth, since activating breaks your .

This is my most Favorite Build, from the list of my favorite builds for nova since it has a high damage output. This build always keeps you ready for clashes because of Headshot.
