This build is an all around go-to. It capitalizes on not only Xul's pushing potential in lane, but his insane utility and crowd control that he can bring to a team fight.
With this build, you're not looking to top the damage charts, but you can act as a catalyst that sets up a myriad of kills for your team with healing blocks, slows, walls, roots, and the kill security that can literally turn the entire tide of a fight.
The build is, however, skill shot dependent. If you're not confident in landing the reverse skill shot of Scythe, this isn't the build for you.
Xul has one of the coolest kits in the game, that really emphasizes his role as a "specialist". The insane pushing power of this build seems like it would lack in providing to a team fight, but it excels in all situations.
This build pushes lanes out insanely fast and insanely efficiently, but also has the ability to generate "summons" in team fights that can block off opponents, crowd UI's, block skillshots, and create intense zoning for your team to work around and make use of. When left unattended, the hordes of summons Xul can create will overwhelm a lane incredibly fast.
Like the title suggests, this build makes use of Xul's versatility against high-health heroes. His kit contains a ton of percent-health damage, and this build maximizes the utility of those talents. It allows you to dive in and sustain and melee range enough to dish out huge burst damage with your enhanced auto attacks, the vulnerability on your E at 16, and the ever-scaling damage as you upgrade your ult, your W, and your E.
This build is very aggressive in a melee regard. Standing back and poking will not maximize the use of this build. Don't be afraid to get up in a tank's face and dish out some hurt!
