Good beginner's guide to Zul'jin. Effectively you put together all possible build combinations and included them in a guide. I'd expect something more detailed, rather than a 'have good positioning, manage cooldowns' that applies to every hero. Hints like throwing W sideways when chased are invaluable for a no-mobility assassin, so I am expecting an update with more details on playstyle.
Hey! Thanks for the kind words. Regarding the depth of mechanics, I don't plan on adding that, similarly with my other guides. My guides are really an accentuation to my stream and act as a quick reference means for viewers to see my builds and purpose behind them.
I occassionally upload video breakdowns to my YouTube, and then attach them to the guides themselves, so I could perhaps do that for ZJ if there's demand for it.
I'm using your aa build, normally, but if you have a lili or blind characters that use the W based build, the explanations are as accurate as the builds themselves. Congratulations and upvote
I got to play a few matches with him last night with your Taz'dingo! build. I ate face, it was wonderful. Can't wait to try out the Dunked build later on.
Can you explain the Troll's Blood Talent pick at Level 4?
I always take Let the Killing Begin to farms some Minions for a quick Attack Speed buff before joining my team for the objective. I understand that a much more potent heal (and one that later you do not have to stand still for) is very powerful, but with Zul'jin I find the 25% maximum Health heal enough to keep me alive while still walking the axe's edge for some high damage output.
I included an alternate build that acknowledges that choice at 4. I explain though as well that the only time I truly see it as a viable option to forgo such powerful self-sustain, on a hero that uses health mitigation as damage, is when a dedicated and powerful support is present on your team and consistently with you.
Otherwise, the value in being able to reset fully in the backline is far too valuable, and ultimately allows for more uptime on Berserking to maximize that output.
