Intro Top

Hello everyone!

Im Skurkify, and who am I you ask? Nobody in particular, just a guy who likes to do stuff on impuls, and this time I went with a Zeratul guide, focusing on insane single target damage.

Pros and Cons of the Dark Prelate Top

The good stuff

High single target damage
Great escape
Works on all maps

The bad stuff

Once his damage is gone, hes pretty much a deflated beach ball
If the escape fails, hes probably not gonna walk out of there
CC, but that goes for pretty much everybody
He never exceles on any map

This is where the moneys at Top

So below Ill list how I play Zeratul throughout the different stages of the game.

Pre-game start: Level 1

This is before the game has "started", when your going to the lanes/the place where the first action will happen, and where is this? The Watch Tower(s) on Haunted Mines and Sky Temple or wherever there is alot of people and try to First Blood.

Early game: Level 1-10

This depends on the amount, type and playstyle of my lane opponent(s), since Zeratul has low-medium damage early in the gamem he cant go BANZAI! and zerg the opponents face (unless its Abathur, but that will never happen). Zeratul should never have a solo lane, hesupposed to roam, poke other lanes, help with objectives and capitalize on over-extended and hurt Heroes, especially if the lack escapes/hard CC.

Mid game part 1: Level 10-16

Now your damage on your abilities have scaled up a bit and you can start doing cute stuff like bring a squishy opponent to about half health, back of, and repeat when your cooldowns comes off.

Mid game part 2: Electric Boggaloo

Level 16 is where you start to hurt, because now you throw 2 Singlurity Spikes and Cleave for about 1000-1200 damage, thats enough to kill pretty much everythin named Support or Assasin with a bit of luck and help (or just wait for them to take some damage in a team fight and act clean up crew).

Late game: Level 20-Beyond

Keeep doing stuff with your team, or if your team can handle their own, go and push another lane, Zeratul pushes really fast and safe. Killing squishies aint no problem, cause you picked up Rewind, lets do some math, YAY!

Cleave+ Singularity Spike+ Singularity Spike+ Rewind+ Cleave+ Singularity Spike+ Singularity Spike= Very(or almost) dead target.

Cleave = 400-500 damage
Singularity Spike = about 500 damage each

Thats somehwere between 2600-3200 damage, which is....alot, more than any soft and/or hurt Hero will survive, and defenitly enough to scare them away from the fight.

Closing words Top

Thats pretty much it, Ill probably flesh this guide out a bit more, maybe add a video, depends on the traffic it gets.

With regards
Skurkify
