Despite the name, this is actually a fairly balanced build that focuses on maximizing Arcane Rift's (Q) power and sustainability, while nudging your Raven Form (D) to the next level.
Pre-level 10, you'll want to spend most of your time in Raven Form and, after you gain Bird's Eye View (1) at level 4, spamming that ability as often and timely as is possible. You should not die before level 10.
Your level 7 ability, The Master's Touch, is difficult to obtain, but so, SO, rewarding when you do. Again, you should not die before level 10, and, at all costs, before you complete The Master's Touch quest. After level 16, hopefully having fulfilled that quest, you will be an invaluable ally in all teamfights.
I prefer the Poly Bomb heroic over Ley Line Seal as I find that having the capacity to silence (at least) one extremely dangerous enemy, without needing to rely on a timely skill-shot, is, on average, far more effective.
At levels 13 and 16, the choices are fairly self-explanatory, but the level 16 ability, Circle of Protection, is, in particular, an exemplary specialist ability that will help you to dominate teamfights. It is important not to spam this ability, but rather to wait for the opportune moment. NOTE: Circle of Protection does NOT cancel pre-existing effects on a hero, such as Lunara's Nature's Toxin. It will stop new damage while it's active, but any conditions will continue to sap life after the protection ends.
At level 20, you'll obtain Arcane Brilliance. This is one of the best mana generation abilities in the game, and can help extend lane pushes to a ridiculous extent. As with all of Medivh's ability, always be aware of his casting circle as it tends to be rather small compared to other casting classes. You'll want to position yourself to maximize benefit.
In conclusion, cast Force of Will (W) whenever it seems best to do so, and utilize your Portal (E) when needed - it is particularly helpful during escapes, but only cast it if you are at the head of the retreat. Casting it while you lag behind can cause your teammates to die as they suddenly change course and run back into danger just to use the Portal. Their flight or fight instincts will be in full-gear, so it is important for you, as the Support, to do the thinking for them.
Best of luck to you all, guardians! If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to reach out!
