Great guide. Thank you for putting in the time. I play a lot of QM and the Chase\Lockdown build is fantastic as long as you have at least one heavy hitter backing you up. I just tried the DPS build and had far less luck. Obviously you need the right team comp to support it.
The DPS build really depends on your team comp. You need another warrior who can fit into the tank role and you cant be as aggressive as with the other builds, so yeah its a bit tricky but with the right comp you can rock :)
Just a minor note - in the "FULL tank build", you put the talent Nexus Blades, instead of Hardened Shield, which would go better in an actual FULL tank build, for obvious reasons. Is there any particular reason why you chose to pick Nexus Blades instead?
as i written in the Build description, i really like the slow effect and the bonus damage in the late game. Normally i am tanky enough without the shield but its a very good option if you are lacking survivability.
I understand the logic, "FULL TANK BUILD" doesn't neccessary mean picking exclusively tanky talents, when another option is obviously better in it's tier, and not costing you too much survivability. However, Hardened Shield is one of the best tank talents, and so I am not sure if I could excuse the bonus damage and slow taking it's place. Nexus Blades is a cool talent, don't get me wrong. The problem that I see, is that picking it, you miss too much survivability that Hardened Shield would give you, and gaining something that goes outside of your primary role. Depending on team compositions, maybe I'd find a good excuse to pick it, but that's really way too situational. That's all I'm implying.
I understand it's your preferred choice, and that's perfectly fine, but it would be good to have an objective approach in your guide, and say that you're picking it because you like it more, but mention Hardened Shield as being the primary option for at least the "FULL TANK BUILD".
Is this build still effective? I'm asking because i get the game only 2 weeks ago and I think the meta is changed since October, but still i want to try Tyrael and this build has a lot of good points.
This is probably one of the better builds for a support Tyrael. Hes super tanky late game and the skillshots with Holy Ground and Cast Aside can wipe teams if your team is with you. Smite with Cast Aside is probably one of my favorite skillshots in hots. Close to stitches hook as far as doing crazy stuff goes. Pushing people into tower range, pushing people out from behind their walls. You can get really creative with how you use it, both in offense and defense.

Sorry that the update took this long :)
this guide is outdated, The skill build isnt possible anymore. There is no tier 2 skill and 2 tier 5 skills
Exactly this, should remove the build
