Gilnean Cocktail (Q) Mana: 80 Cooldown: 9 seconds Hurl a flask that deals 152 (72 + 4% per level) damage to the first enemy hit and explodes for 454 (216 + 4% per level) damage to enemies in a cone behind them. Worgen: Razor Swipe Swipe forward and damage enemies you pass through. Notes: Gilnean Cocktail is a skill shot with triggers upon impact with either an enemy minion, structure or hero. Without Incendiary Elixir this ability will produce no damage if it misses. To get the most benefit out of this ability you need to aim with the intention of doing the most damage to those enemies behind your first target. |
Gilnean Cocktail (W) Mana: 70 Cooldown: 0.0625 seconds Gain 50% Attack Speed for 3 seconds. Basic Attacks refresh this duration. |
Darkflight (E) Mana: 10 Cooldown: 6 seconds Shapeshift into a Worgen and leap at an enemy dealing 91.52 (+4% per level) damage. Worgen: Disengage Roll away and shapeshift into a Human. |
Level 1 |
Viciousness was chosen because
Inner Beast is likely to drop-off during extended team fights without being able to refresh its duration with abilities. Viciousness cuts down on the amount of buttons you need to manage and is useful when you're chasing down heroes attempting to flee because you'll cycle through your abilities quickly in an attempt to chase them down. Viciousness also useful to maintain Inner Beast whilst kitting and synergises well with On the Prowl at level 13. |
Level 4 | Thick Skin was chosen because Greymane lacks survivability. He relays on his ability to finish off opponents with Darkflight - which often involves jumping into the opposing team and living long enough to use Disengage. |
Level 7 | Wizened Duelist was chosen because this build revolves around doing the most damage possible in Worgen form in an attempt to kill your opponent quickly before being forced to use Disengage. This talent relays on your ability to stay alive, but stacks can be quite easy to acquire due to Greymane's high damage output. |
Level 10 |
Go for the Throat was chosen because this build revolves around increasing Greymane's Worgen form damage, mobility and survivability.
Go for the Throat has high burst damage, with the ability to jump between targets if you land the killing blow. It's worth noting that this talent doesn't benefit from Thick Skin, so I suggest using it after Darkflight or as an alternative way to close the gap on fleeing opponents. |
Level 13 | On the Prowl was chosen because it gives Greymane some much needed mobility. It also helps him chase his target or escape. |
Level 16 | Alpha Killer was chosen because it makes warriors a viable target. It increases Greymane's damage in Worgen form so it synergises well with Wizened Duelist, Tooth and Claw, and Inner Beast. |
Level 20 |
Tooth and Claw was chosen because it synergises well with Greymane's other basic attack talents, such as
Wizened Duelist and
Alpha Killer. If you have a support hero on your team to keep you alive then during Inner Beast whilst in Worgen form this talent will heavily damage or kill a team of heroes if they're grouped together. |
