biggest downfall about this build, out of a lane=out of power. Next

Hey Fabio, not sure if you noticed but there are 4 separate builds in this guide (you can rotate through them with the right and left arrows on the banner picture at the top) while one of them is the pusher guide the others are focused on out of lane PVP or zone control

The layout of this guide is very well done but I think some of the builds could use minor adjustments. I think Nullifier build would benefit more from the level 4 and level 16 talents for Spectral Scythe. Koetetsu below brings up a good point about the level 1 talent for Pusher. The Sweeper build is pretty interesting but the level 4 talent dosen't seem to fit. Otherwise, you've come up with some great builds and I look forward to read your other guides

Thanks for the feedback Halfie, I agree with a lot of it. I've been playing a bunch more Xul this week and have some notes where I plan to tweak. Was waiting to see if he was going to be adjusted in today's patch before I did

I think the bone armor talent for the pusher build is wrong. Backlash only damages heroes. So it should be shade since it will also help you while mercing by evading damage.

I think koetetsu is right. Shade is more effective for the pusher build because it can help you dodged tower hits if the wave is suddenly cleared or if you are diving forts. Koetetsu brought up a great point and that it helps you merc very effectively. The CD isn't something to worry about when doing mercs, since Xul would prefer to push with the mercs rather than chaining camps (as is hardly advised). I would also suggest Skeletal Mages instead of Poison Nova because they do more damage over time, can soak tower damage, or could be used to disengage once the enemy comes to gank you.

Some really great details there that I've added in. Had not thought about how effective shade can be in mercing or that skeletal mages do make a great disengage. I found that PN puts out enough damage that a really aggressive player will throw down a bone keep and rush anyone jumping them. I should add in some other options for more conservative players.

I find your guide good in general but two things hurts me in your Sweeper build. Firstable, took Backlash at level 1 is good but Shade is a must to have for me because it gives you more survbility and i find that not bad because Xul is not that tanky. So for me the bigger error is to take Giant's Curse (who is a really good talent) and Executionner. The things is that if you take Decrepify at lvel 13 its give you with Executionner a bonus of 40% on every time you use your A wich can deal at level 16 near 2000 with your A and 4 aa at 336 with executionner. Do that with your e in more in tf and its give you 2000 on each hero on 3 seconds. So for me its way more powerful that Giant's Curse if you go for Executionner after. And btw E.T.C and Nasibo is not a big threat because by experience you can hold your lane alone aginst this two ! However really good work on this build :)

Thanks Likamate - you're right you can hold a lane against ETC and Nasibo individually but I wrote them down as a threat due to their stuns (I need to add in more threat notes). Xul is fairly squishy for a melee character so I wanted to add in that you should keep out of range of any team stunners more than normal.

As for Gaint's Curse you raise a good point in regards to executioner, my only thought is that is only the most effective strategy if you are going 1v1 as your damage output on a single hero is higher. However, if it is late game and you are in a 5v5 team fight then Gaint's curse can result in you causing an additional 2% damage per strike on up to 5 enemies if you get them in range. So I see what you mean if you are focus on burst, but the late game team potential makes it a hard choice!

Thanks to have answer man! ^^ So yeah your right in fact because a threat doesnt mean bad in lane ^^ but u should wrote something to say that Xul can handle pratically every hero in the game. Even two :D. And yeah your right i was only focusing on the capacity of xul to burst very quickly some target down. So yeah in fact your right. But it can be still good in burst build i think ^^.
