Taking greater cleave makes it much easier to clear waves and other map objectives while also increasing dps in team-fights by allowing you to hit more than one enemy hero.
I prefer to take focused attack instead of gathering power because it does not require stacks and allows you to still deal some damage to targets who have taken spell shield.
Void-slash increases burst damage which is what this build is trying to accomplish, first aid is also an option if you're team is lacking in heals.
Void prison goes without saying. the versatility is too good to pass up.
Wormhole VS Assasins Blade, I usually end up taking assasins blade but if i believe the match will be over before level 21+ is achieved i will take wormhole. the reason for this is wormholes interaction with rewind. If you use rewind while the wormhole is active it does not deactivate your current wormhole. So you have much reduced versatility in blinking post 20.
Rending cleave over double bombs because the purpose of this build is to give the enemy as little time as possible to react to your presence.
Rewind only viable choice for this build as the void prison upgrade makes it worse and nexus blades is counter productive to staying out of harms way.
This build is focused around dealing damage while taking minimum damage in return. The goal is to position yourself so that you can flank the enemy teams priority target, burst them with AA,Q,W then blink away to safety. Then focus on re-positioning for another attack. Always be on the lookout for good void prison opportunities. Remember that cleave will most likely come back up before VP ends.
