So I have a question that isn't really about this concept specifically. When you're making a hero concept, do you start with a gameplay/mechanic idea, or a hero? I ask because usually I think about which heroes it would be cool to be able to play, and then try to develop a gameplay off of that, but maybe this is why my concepts always end up half-baked. So I was wondering if you start with an idea for a mechanic versus one for a hero (although this is a rework, so maybe's that different too).

Wow, thanks for the in-depth and swift response! I didn't expect anything so quickly. I'll look into revamping this--and I see what you mean, perhaps I've treated the game a bit too much like chess, with each piece bearing a static functionality. I realize also that I should've put 'QM' into the title. I will change that immediately, I didn't realize there were a solid number of people on HeroesFire who played SL, and I'm sorry for the misconception. I do have to disagree about...

I realize that this is (probably) a rough draft, but I do have one big question: Do the Blighthounds teleport to the target, or do they have to run?

Is this supposed to be a tauren or something? If you want the profile image thing to show, you have to delete everything after ".jpg". My only complaint about this is it gets me killed xD I always think I can kill everybody if Lt. Morales casts it on me, and then I get myself killed.

Not Lilmy, but you can have multiple pieces of the same type: The base limit is 5, the King and the Queen don't count towards this limit, and there are only four other types of pieces. The ability wheel is super clever though, it really makes you wonder how far you could go with a concept.

Wow, another brilliantly unique concept, and the beautiful formatting is always a nice touch. There are some grammatical issues, but the concept itself seems really fun to play (not that I think I'd be good at it. I'm not good at micro-managing in HotS). One question though, can you soak XP from your pieces?

As interesting an idea as it is, I don't think that giving a hero benefits when a different, completely separate hero is on the same team is a good idea. If balanced for both heroes, it would make him too weak when played without Delia (and vice versa). But if balanced for play with one hero, it would make him too powerful when played with Delia (and again, vice versa). It would probably end up being Cho'Gall, but with two moving heroes instead of one.
