Agree to Disagree - the vast majority of players in tournaments playing KT, always go for Phoenix as it is the superior choice. I can't remember seeing KT pick pryo in any competitive play.

Welcome to HoTS - its really a great game and there is plenty of new things that I even pick up everyday! The other two "go to" talents in this tier are just better for a tank build Johanna. This guide focuses on that, now if you were going for a specialist type build, DPS or even a double warrior meta group, then this might be an okay pick. But even in those builds, I would likely pick Knight Takes Pawn over Righteous Smash. Just my thoughts.

I think you are missing the key parts of what makes phoenix a truly outstanding heroic and it is much, much better than pyroblast in nearly all games. Hey Severage - Sorry for the delay, I have been 100% focused on my Johanna guide. I am still a big fan of Nether Wind but in ranked games, I still feel Gathering Power pulls ahead for a couple of reasons. 1. With the new Long Bombs build, you will be a pretty good distance from the fight at level 13, you will likely not be able to take advantage of the nether wind talent. Johanna really has a toolkit for nearly every enemy team comp. I don't think that Knight Takes Pawn talent is the best choice in the tier, unless you are running a two warrior meta comp, in which case you would need to do some other talent choices as well. I really like Battle Momentum, I felt like I could cast way more Shield Glare in a team fight, which is huge mitigation for your team. It also reduces the cooldown on ALL abilities, including heroics. Which is why I think it pulls ahead of the other talents in this tier. More testing of course is required though. I am going to give this a try in Quick Matches - What is your thoughts when going against Illidan or Valla AA builds - a 50% off a basic attack of like 300-500 damage is huge! And you can have up to 5 stacks through an ability rotation, assuming you go in with 2 stacks already. Thanks for the feedback :)

Ya, I changed this in the guide, I typically select Imposing Presence, so I switched to that. I think Shield Glare would be less beneficial if the other team's assassins are spell casters. If that is the case, I would go with Holy Renewal since the timing of sheild glare will be less important. I think Johanna has a good tool kit to tailor to the other team and I will change a few things up to show this. Thanks for the comments and feedback!
