The more important thing is the differences between the numbers rather than the numbers themselves. The "MMR Numbers" depend on the base number used in the calculations (for example, our's is 1200, that would be considered "average" and that is where everybody starts).
So basically, I wouldn't worry about comparing the numbers to Hotslogs / DOTA, as the comparison really only works between other players on HeroGG. The tippity top player right now only has 1850 eMMR, so...
