Tier 1;
You wont be the initiator so Block wont be mandatory.
Reducing cd of hb wont help much in team fights, good choice for early game but in late game, you re gonna need a lot of mana.
Regen golbes starts to have some effect only in late-game but still its not helping much in teamfights, and there wont be any laning in late-game.
Tier 2;
Dont ever go merc with Arthas, you should be roaming.
You already have a mana recovering talent, you wont need the third talent on this tier, %150 dmg will have really good synergie with level 16 talent.
Tier 3;
You are not the main tank so no point on first talent, even if you are the initiator, dont go that talent again, go obliterate, it will do much since you will be fighting face to face to enemy.
And last talent on this tier has barely any effect for teamfights.
Ultimate; I believe undead ultimate is really a bad choice, you will propably only picking it when you are solo tank, but consider this; Everyone knows Arthas is a rather squishy tank, if they see you activating your ulti, you will be burst to death, you will barely use that ulti on full potential, its just a waste of a good ability.
Tier 5;
The most tricky part; You might not be initiator but if enemy has a good burst character, they wont just burst down a johanna or muradin, they will send some living bombs or snipes to you, so spell shield "might" be good option here or if enemy has good crowd control, like a team of muradin, kael thas, uther(etc...) relentless could be good option too, and last two talents on this tier are aggressive ones, i like trail of frost because it helps your team burst down those who are rooted which creates a panic and turns teamfight in your favor, but wont do much when enemy plays aggressive, if they have an aggressive composition you should go biting cold.
Tier 6;
At level 20, there will be a lot of dmg, so some of them will be dealt to you ofc, just because you are a second tank doesnt mean you will be ignored, to this point we have used "Good offense is best defense" tactic, by bursting down enemy you will try to guarantee there wont be anyone that is enough to kill you. So my point being here is; If enemy has 2 or more assassins, you should propably go hardened shield because you wont have enough time to root and burst them down, you will need a good shield there, and sindragose tier 2 is only good in a mage synergie, like; You root enemy down as initiation, your tank goes there to take all the damage he can, and all other heroes bursts them down, so its really game changing when you use that initiation good, but situationary.
About how to play Arthas, i am on rank 14, and have a 10 level Arthas, im not considering myself best Arthas, but i have lots of games where i out damage most assassins, most assassins just bursts and backs down, but with Arthas, you have to play aggressive, a roamer.
Your early game strategy should be; Roaming lanes, targeting over-extended enemies with howling blast, activating your E and body blocking them to death, and with Frost strike it will become really easy thing to do, you will root them, frost strike them, and you will kill it before it reaches its gate, and do not ever use your death coil early, because you will propably need it to secure your escape, or secure the kill.
So if any questions on; Which maps favours him most; I ll go with "Haunted mines", you can easily collect skulls, but the most important part here is, you can silence keep for your golem, when there wont be any tower hitting your team, pushing with golem will be a lot easier, so compliments for Sindragosa guys!
So thats basically how i play Arthas guys, this guide is due to "Lack of Arthas players" i see so many Arthas' playing it inefficently, not using his full potential, i ve always enjoyed playing Arthas, he is really no where close to being trash tier, or is not like "Worse than johanna or leoric" kinda tank, he is just very situationary, but a total bruiser when you use well.
So if any questions, i can answer all here or private message guys.
Thanks for reading!
