Purpose of the builds Top
First build has teamfight talents where able without taking away from the split pushing aspect.
Second build focuses alot more on survival and escape talents adding even more to the split pushing aspect as Dehaka can retreat from split pushing more effectively while, tanking and surviving much more effectively in teamfights.
The purpose of these builds is for the player to be able to split push in any available lane when the opportunity arises, before then being able to burrow to wherever a teamfight or objective is taking place on the map and taking part in those effectively aswell. Dehaka's mount ability is the key here and it basically allows the player to take on the role of a pusher and teamfight focused hero/ player was he can travel instantaneously.
I will do my best to make each explanation as short but full of useful info as possible.
Level 1 talent - Primal aggression Top
Because you're going to be split pushing whenever possible to great effect if done properly, picking this talent is important because you can kill more creeps more quickly and get more work done more quickly before your opponents have a chance to come and defend from your pushing. This talent is also great with the Level 4 pick - One who collects which I will explain below.
Level 4 talent - One who collects. (Survival build - Lurker strain) Top
One who eollects - This talent essentially allows Dehaka to gain 50% more essence from minions. The reason why this is more effective in this buld than say 'Her stalker'(100% more from takedowns) is because in combination with killing minions more quickly and your focus on pushing, you will pick up much more essence and therefore be able to heal more effectively and more often aswell.
[
b]Lurker Strain[/b] - This talent allows Burrow to be used as CC as it pushes the opponent around making them uncomfortable or pushing them out of their desired position discretely creating chaos and confusion. Stealth allows the player to essentally do anything until revealed from escaping to using other abilities uninhibited. And lastly, it can also be used to escape bad situations in teamfights or being chased down when split pushing.
Level 7 talent - Symbiosis Top
Symbiosis - This talent is slightly more tricky to choose. But based on our strategy with this build, since you won't be ganking as much as other builds would be aimed towards, icking either drag talent would be less effective than usual and the essence talent is not necessary because you'll be gaining so much aessence because your Level 4 talent pick. As a result, the logical pick would Symbiosis which reduces the cooldown of dark swarm by 0.4 seconds each time it hits an enemy. This talent is great because in the midst of a teamfight, hitting multiple enemies is likely or even just 1, which will allow the player to spam this ability, doing much more damage than without it.
Essence devourer - Because at level 4 you would be taking Lurker strain with the survival/ pushing focused build taking this essence talent is very necessary in order to improve essence comsumption in a different way to make up for our lack of increased essence from minions.
This talent allows the player to use regen globes to gain 10 essence which will be collected while also killing minions, meaning that the essence from globes will compensate for the lack of minion essence. Also, Dehakas overall highest essence bacnk will increase meaning that Dehakas can hold more essence. And when the quest is completed, the player will get 15 essence from globes which is a 50% increase.
Level 10 ultimate - depends on the situation Top
To put it simply:
Isolation - Choose this ability if against certain heroes which you really want to keep out of the fight, such as Kaelthalas, Li Ming, Zul'jin, Butcher etc. This ability will silence them for what will be the majority or entirity on teamfights. As a result it will instantly turn from 5v5 to 4v5 allowing you to have a great advantage, and then when you can, you can just kill the isolated hero if they're still under the effect.
Adaptation - This talent will be great if you want to focus purely on tanking damage and really make the enemy attack you. On the other hand if you use this ability, then the enemy will either carry on attacking you, or ignore you and you can attyack them freely without worrying about what they will do.
Ssecondly, Adaptation is a great split pushing talent as you use it to escape if attacked while pushing, as you'll regain all the health you lose, and have a much higher chance of escape.
Level 13 talent - Primal Swarm Top
Primal Swarm is a good pick as it synergizes well with your level 7 talent as they are for the same ability.
This talent will remove 10 armour from all enemies being damaged by it meaning they take 10% extra damage. The use and reason for this tqalent pick is the same as with the level 7 talent.
Level 16 talent - tunneling claws Top
Tunneling claws is a versatile talent as it allows the player to move while burrowed and can be used effectively in almost all circumstances.
1. You can use it as an escape mechanic when pushing or in a teamfight
2. Burrow behind an enemy to prevent escape
3. briefly stop the enemy from attacking you and change position and healing
4. Get closer to the enemy without them being able to damage you
5. Heal with adaptation if you chose that ability.
Level 20 talent - depends on situation Top
Contagion - if you chose this ultimate ability and have teammates like Zarya or ETC who can group the enemy together...using contagion can be devastating as all enemies caught will be disabled instantly for most likely the whole fight and then you will ALMOST ALWAYS win the fight if this combo is done correctly.
Apex Predator - this talent is more suited to this build as it is much more versatile and can also be used for going between pushing and teamfights more effectively. For example:
1. Use it as an escape mechanic when pushing or losing a fight
2. Go back to pushing more quickly after a teamfight
3. Go to multiple teamfights if they take place soon after eachother
4. Gank more often if you so wish
