If you know how to reposition yourself properly you wont be relying on your stasis(burrow) but more of being in the fight and use essences in late game. As your main damage over swarm and aswell at your last level your adaption will be your main regeneration source of sustain/heals. If you're new and need ways of escaping easier, you can go for tunneling claws at 16 to disengage much easier at the cost of drag slow.
Approaches: When you're approaching the enemy team you want to know when to use your adaptation over your essences first, as this will be your main damage source in this build. Start by engaging with more than 2 teammates in the backline and when you're the main focus of the enemy team use either in defense, burrow or drag to utilize as much time you can for your team to contribute to the fight. This way you wont rely on your essences and last much longer in teamfights. Your essences should only be used when repositioning yourself with low hp your adaptation is your recover/sustain in every big fight.
Escape/kites: In order for you to survive engages, you want to use your burrow when targetted first in the most need, as it is a long cooldown but can prevent amost all stuns/debuffs. If you're caught up by assassins chasing you down, you can then use your essences while dragging to immobilize your enemy and recover hp when trying to disengage and get back safe to base or regroup in a team.
