I won't say I'm really experienced, because I'm not. But this build has worked for me best so far. Although it lacks the crowd control from devouring maw it all makes up in being able to regain mana quick which allows you to spam abilities without any care, you get a quick escape hole (Can't express how many times it's saved me), and you can be at any part of the map at any time, which makes up for some good sneak attacks.
Start the game by placing creep tumors on cooldown as it gives alot of vision and places for you to set up nydus worms and push. Due to not having rapid incubation you will either have to use careful mana management or make repeated trips home to replenish. Once at level 10 place a nydus at the home and there is your free mana plus escape route. With nydus you'll be able to assist the team in times of need while switching to assault lanes in an instant and applying pressure constantly.
