Critical Mass Top

Li-Ming is a difficult assassin to play correctly. She is very skill shot dependent, and requires intense attention to where her abilities are being used, and who they are being used against. She excels in dealing quick, massive damage, and can also bully and poke a lane well against practically any matchup.

However, her skillshots are VITAL. If you can't maximize the damage and utility of her Q and W, you'll have a terrible time trying to dish out hurt. This build excels in providing Li-Ming with intense self-sustain amidst massive team fights, as well as rewarding conscious ability rotations and target prioritizing. This build is aimed at making use of her amazing passive, Critical Mass, which resets both basic and heroic cooldowns on any kill or assist that Li-Ming is a part of. The build will keep you from going mana hungry, and reward you for securing kills with intense buffs to AP, as well as self-healing and mana regen that will allow you to unleash a ruthless barrage of arcane against the enemy team.

Blink (Melee) Top

This build excels against stealth and heavier melee teams, or when you feel you need more beef an escape, perhaps in the absence of a support.

While this build works super well in those situations, the fact does not change that Li-Ming is a squishy mage. She has to be cautious with diving in to deal that big wombo damage, but pulled at the right time, this build does amazing in team fights, and nearly never fails in duels.

Bowling Ball Top

A lot of people saw the changes to Li-Ming following her release as "nerfs", and they did do some tuning. But, whether they intended to or not, they actually buffed the damage and usage of Arcane Orb, and that's what this build centers around.

Being able to maximize utility and damage with this build will come from knowing how to most effectively position yourself to get the maximum range on your W, the maximum damage, and the cooldown reduction provided by Triumvirate and it's new buff at the level 4 tier.

Steer clear of this build if you can't find proper positioning, or if your frontline is having a hard time holding up.
