Well, I'm going to suggest a build to be added--my default build. It's sort of a Spike-damage gambler--it's risky but worth it.
1: Sharpened Blades (lots of damage for combo)
4: Envenom (EXPLANATION: Envenom gives a spike of over time damage, that dosen't seem like all that much. However it contributes 31 DPS at level 1--about 100 at level 20--for ten seconds. Psiconic Grasp does that for 5 seconds. Fury of the swarm s decent but like you said, no benifet for 1v1.).
7: Bladed Momentum (more sic casts of Sharpened blades and later double strike)
10: Ultralisk (Isolate a hero, allows for single target spike)
13: Double strike (procs with bladed momentum for extra damage)
16: Eccsence for Eccsence (Spike Damage, shield, not to love?)
20: Nexus Blades (More burst.)
Yeah I have seen and tried that build. (With Block instead of Sharpened Blades at level 1). It was around even before the changes. I got my *ss kicked by it a few times too. Gives great 1v1 potential. If the game tends to be chaotic and random, it can help score lots of kills. Kind of like stealth heroes get more value, when there are little team fights or multiple points you have to hold, so people have to split and you get much more 1v1 opportunities. Dragon Shire for example.
To be honest I was on the fence about adding the "All In - Easy mode" build to the guide, as I don't like it myself, because it is too... well all-in for my taste. I only did because of its popularity and easy execution, as it is kind of vanilla. Your 1v1 build is another I considered, but decided against it, simply because I have no experience with it, and could not find any source of information about the results it provide or the way to play it. The 2 or 3 games I attempted to play, I could not use Envenom or Essence for Essence to get any meaningful result, especially in 5v5 fights. Not that it is bad build. I am simply terrible at actually using those very short, point and click abilities. That is why I stopped playing the Envenom + Blood for Blood combo on Murky, after only few games, and switched to Slime oriented build.
If you are willing to write a section about your build and the playstyle, that comes with it, I would be happy to add it to the guide, with due credit. But as I myself just have no experience with it, I can't really describe how to play it myself. If you are interested send me a massage.
